As the Warriors and Wakanda season progresses, we keep welcoming new players in the Infinite rank club. While most of the posts regarding the achievement are featuring staples of the current metagame, which you can find in our weekly tier list article, I found a few gems to share this week.
For those new to this series, the concept is simple, I will showcase different decks that made the climb to the most prestigious rank in Marvel Snap, highlighting their particularities and play patterns. The goal is to show that a lot of decks are capable of getting you past the hundredth rank, even if you can’t afford the presumably best builds in the game.
So, what is on the menu this week? A bit of Spider-Man, alongside a Kingpin plus Magneto combo. Electro joins the Wakanda army to support Black Panther. And Agatha Harkness also gets you to Infinite!
Once again, let’s dive deep into some original decks who managed to get to earn their pilots a nice social media post, a sweet looking card back, and the Infinite recognition from their peers.

Lock, Move and Climb!
INFINITE RANK w/ Spiderman duo! My favourite deck so far, pumped to stream with it tomorrow 🥹 pic.twitter.com/ObMhcOhd2I
— Mogwai (@MegaMogwai) November 11, 2022
Mogwai is a famous content creator in the CCG community, and most of the time because he is playing his own brews or weird builds he can find. At the end of last week, he managed to reach the Infinite rank with this peculiar deck.
From what I can understand, the deck relies on setting up Kingpin to pull opposing cards with Magneto on turn 6. In order to prevent the opponent from being able to play onto Kingpin’s lane and prevent Magneto from pulling cards, Spider-Man can lock the lane and make sure we save space.
The surrounding cards are looking to be popular cards that work around the concepts of benefiting from limited location space. Nightcrawler, Iron Fist and Klaw allow to contribute to a location we couldn’t otherwise play on. Lizard and Jessica Jones are high scorers for their cost, forcing the opponent to heavily commit there to contest. Lastly, we have Miles Morales as a cheap points scorer, enabling some explosive power.
I would expect cards like Polaris or Aero to also be fine inclusions there, but maybe Mogwai didn’t have them yet, or found other cards more useful.
Black Panther Finds a New Ally in Electro

— Ken (@SuperTechGod) November 14, 2022
Famous for its pairing with Wong and Arnim Zola, Black Panther managed to quickly find a deck to become a very good card of the current metagame. And the reason there are so many Cosmo being played currently is a testimony to its power.
In this deck, Ken went for a much greedier approach than the usual On Reveal build we are accustomed to seeing Black Panther in. Here, we have Daredevil, Electro, Okoye or Taskmaster, all cards which can impact or abuse how good Black Panther ends up being – in addition to the staples, Wong, Arnim Zola and Odin.
- Daredevil lets us know if it’s safe to play Black Panther, as we can avoid the opponent trying to snipe it with a timely Cosmo.
- Okoye buffs Black Panther to make it bigger later on.
- Electro allows us to skip turn four, directly playing Black Panther, which is usually great if we don’t have Odin in hand.
- Taskmaster is another payoff card in the same vein as Arnim Zola, as it should lead to a second big power card if it copies Black Panther’s power.
Agatha Also Gets to Infinite!
Going for my 3rd (yes 3rd) season playing Agatha to Infinite! Playing this deck right now, which is an adaptation on a list that @WillowSnapping came up with like a month ago. I think my refinements make it more consistent with some extra combo lines! #MarvelSnap @MARVELSNAP pic.twitter.com/VF2aVEpvVR
— BenJimJam (Agatha Master) (@BenJimJamCCG) November 13, 2022
Often labelled a meme card, Agatha Harkness actually has a competitive build around her, and BenJimJam reached Infinite once again using a deck built for the card.
Up until this point, almost every deck I had seen with Agatha Harkness featured Quicksilver and Domino, as a way to guarantee a turn one and two play. Agatha just had to slam them onto the board with not much of a choice. In this take on the archetype, the deck does not play a single card before turn three, an odd direction to say the least!
However, taking this line gives the deck a ton of space in order to include most of the highest ceiling cards in the game. This leads to Agatha Harkness likely playing a very scary card for our opponent every turn from three until six.
Also, we have a solid chance of quickly removing Agatha from our hand as Lady Sif will discard her, and Wave will make her playable on turn 4. This will open us up to taking back control of the game to decide where to play Shang-Chi, Enchantress, Red Skull and such more precise cards.
Closing Words
The season is more advanced now, with spicier decks starting to emerge to be able to reach the highest rank in Marvel Snap. While I have to admit, I’m more of the kind of player who tries to refine an established archetype rather than go completely off the script. I have a lot of fun researching and highlighting these kinds of decks, and have a massive amount of respect for the players spending weeks or months into creating a deck from scratch.
Hopefully, the surprises keep coming, and I get to highlight more original strategies making it to the top of the Marvel Snap food chain. I hope you guys are enjoying these spotlights. Good Game Everyone.
