This meta features a lot of strong archetypes, but it feels like it boils down to little details in the end. Indeed, whether you pick a synergistic deck or a flexible one, the outcome of a match can be decided by Turn 3. As such, controlling your Snaps and Retreats has never been more important. If you look at most of the current decks, they all rely on strong openings that are good enough to Snap:

Ravonna Renslayer or Psylocke into Mister Negative Morbius or The Collector into Daken or Bullseye Madame Web into any Move card Any flexible deck that wins their Iron Patriot lane on Turn 3 or activates their Wiccan on Turn 4

When one of these scenario happens and your opponent Snaps, you are usually left with three choices:

Retreat, the logical choice when you're significantly behind early in a match and faced with a Snap. Disrupt their synergy, which limits the importance of their early development.
