Each Marvel Snap deck archetype pushes its pilot to use a different set of skills. For example, the current metagame sees the proactive, points driven decks do very well, with Hela at the helm.
These type of archetypes will require you to master your own deck more than anything, pushing you to maximize your outs, potential, and manipulate information so you don’t tell your opponent everything they need to know early on.

Facing it for the domination of the current metagame is Thanos, a flexible archetype, requiring you to have sound fundamentals of the game and how resource management works, so you can adapt to the situation.
Facing an opponent with more points than you do? Play like a control deck. Your opponent isn’t developing so much, then be a proactive build.

Last on the list are the Control decks, kind of struggling a little lately, as the potential of both Hela and Thanos are a lot to handle. Oftentimes, we consider those to be the most difficult ones, and looking at their chart, there is a lot to discuss.
However, even if you require more information to play those decks well, the piloting during a match isn’t necessary more difficult than with a proactive deck.

During the session, we did a bit of a deck roulette, picking one deck from each category, and trying to adapt to their different requirements on the fly.
