Edge Of Evil Bundle Guide – Details and Analysis

Buyer's guide to the Edge Of Evil Marvel Snap Bundle with details and analysis. How good is it in comparison to other bundles?

With only a few hours left until the bundle expires, but for the most patient ones – let’s take a look at what this rather inexpensive bundle offers and whether it’s worth getting.

The Edge Of Evil bundle offers 2,000 Collector’s Tokens for 3,000 Gold, 500 Credits, and a bit of cosmetics on top. Considering that the usual Token Tuesday ratio of tokens to Gold is 0.714, it can be said that this bundle is equivalent to two Token Tuesdays, priced at 2,800 Gold, and the remaining 200 Gold can be expressed as 250 Credits. Thus, it turns out that this bundle is like two Token Tuesdays with free 250 Credits and cosmetics.

Overall, this is a nice offer for those who were already planning to purchase Token Tuesdays, but for others, it’s the third bundle in a row after a long break with not a very high Progress Value. However, there’s a small twist here!

Due to the low cost of the bundle and the small number of competitors in the price category, it turns out that for such a price, we previously received not too much more. As can be seen from the chart below, which includes all bundles since the introduction of the Spotlight Caches system, the position of the bundle is not very good, although there have been worse cases. However, these cases – Beach Bums and The Obligatory Zombie bundles were very favorably distinguished by cosmetics, which naturally reduced the Progress Value. However, the bundle in question deviates from the average value by only 4%.

If we look at the past 6 months instead of the entire period, the bundle becomes even closer to the average value, which, taking into account the general trend of decreasing value, doesn’t look so bad.

And, as expected, the bundle ranks very high among bundles with cosmetics in terms of Tokens per Gold. This once again confirms that it’s not a bad deal for those in need of Collector’s Tokens.

But what about the variant? Unfortunately, there’s not much for the bundle to boast about here. Elektra is a Series 1 card, so new players won’t be able to benefit from the advantage of receiving a variant for a card they don’t yet have. The news isn’t too good for veterans either – Elektra isn’t a particularly strong meta card and is found in niche decks like Cerebro 2, and even then, not very often.

Conclusion

Thus, the conclusion is simple – if there’s a card you want to obtain, but it won’t be in the Spotlight Caches anytime soon, or if there’s an upcoming Spotlight Cache where, besides an important new card, you don’t want anything at all – the bundle is worth it.

In any other case, a potentially better decision might be to spend Gold on purchasing Credits or missions in the shop, or to save up for a bundle that offers a particularly good Credits to Gold ratio.

Initially, I wanted to give the bundle 2 stars, on par with how I rated bundles before. But after considering its advantages and taking into account that Second Dinner fundamentally doesn’t offer us as good bundles for Gold as before – I’m adding half a star to the bundle, since time is passing, and the Progress Value of bundles has remained around 107% for a long time, while this bundle for 3,000 Gold won’t hit the wallet as hard as bundles for 6,000-7,500 Gold.

Rating

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
