Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone every weekday with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it! If you want three more new decks today, check out this video!
Today’s deck is really something special. We have a Junk deck like I’ve never seen before. Every day I’ll give a brief explanation of the deck, replacements for the Series 4 and 5 cards, and a turn-by-turn breakdown. But before we get to the deck, let’s talk about Moonstone.

Moonstone is a very powerful card, an easy one to recommend buying if you have either 4 Spotlight Keys (NEVER open with less than 4) or 6,000 Collector’s Tokens. Yesterday on stream, I did a Series 4 and 5 Tier List and Moonstone ended up in the A Tier. She’s a card that has remarkable synergy with Series 5 cards like Victoria Hand and Speed, and she also works really well with cheaper options like Patriot, Cerebro, and the newly buffed Mister Fantastic. I believe her synergy with Mystique is under-explored (as you’ll see in today’s deck), which is about to get even better with the next Season Pass card Sam Wilson Captain America. Go get Moonstone if you can. On to today’s deck:
As of this writing, Cougarrr is sitting at Rank 6 with this deck. The main game plan of this one is obvious—play Junk cards like Green Goblin, Titania, and Debrii to clog one lane. When that’s an easy win, Iron Man or Gorr can win the other contested lane…. but there’s another play here, one that really centers around abusing Ravonna Renslayer and Moonstone.
With those two together, Iron Man is a 3-Cost, Gorr is a 4-Cost, and Green Goblin, Sage, and Mystique all cost one energy. That’s absurd! With either Ravonna or a Turn 7, you have the ability to get two double Gorrs. The idea is to leave Moonstone in one lane on Turn 4 mostly alone. If you have seven turns, you can then play Iron Man in another lane, or, if you have Ravonna and six turns, drop Gorr. After that, it’s simple: Mystique that Gorr, make sure to play Mystique under your Moonstone, and then drop Iron Man on the original Gorr‘s lane. Good luck to the opponent seeing that one coming!
Card Replacements
Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Pass, Titania is a clog card
- Turn 2: Ravonna >
Kate / Daredevil - Turn 3: Daredevil >
Kate if Ravonna, Magik if not - Turn 4: Moonstone (on Ravonna) > 2-Cost + non-Acid Arrow
- Turn 5: Last turn for Magik. If already Magik, Green Goblin and Titania. If not, Gorr
- Turn 6: Debrii + Iron Man > 2-Cost + Gorr / Ravonna + Moonstone
- Turn 7: Dump Gorr, Mystique, Sage, Arrow
That’s it for today, don’t forget to check today’s video for more great decks!
