A lot of experienced players I talked with ahead of this season were not hyped about the cards early on. It isn’t that the Zombie Horde synergy isn’t a good or interesting one. Rather, we all felt there was no way it would click until all its associated cards were released.
In that context, although Zombie Scarlet Witch might be the key to make it all work, the card has been posting catastrophic numbers early on, mostly benefiting from solid archetypes welcoming her as a standalone addition.
Colonel America isn’t much better to be honest, as the 3-cost is posting fine numbers, but mostly lowers the potential of Discard Dracula and Hela at the moment.
Typically, the first week of the season features win and cube rates well above the usual margins. Bots are helping while plenty of players are just goofing around with unrefined builds, which allows for the more serious decks to post disproportionate performances.
Amongst those decks featuring End of Turn, Supergiant Rocks, Move, Ongoing or Deadpool Destroy, neither Colonel America nor Zombie Scarlet Witch are included.
The best deck with either card is Hela, posting a 0.4 cube average and 58% Win Rate, excellent numbers but not that crazy for a first week. Unfortunately, there is another Hela deck using Gambit and Eson instead of Zombie Power Man and Colonel America, with a cube average 0.15 above the Colonel America one.
As for Zombie Scarlet Witch, it is much faster to search for decks with the card rather than look at the global data. Indeed, her best deck with at least 200 games recorded is a 0.15 cube average, 48.5% win rate performance.
| Mission | # | Reward |

| Win with Colonel America starting in your Deck | 4 | 400 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Zombie Scarlet Witch starting in your Deck | 8 | 200 Gold |

Considering there are bots to help polish the numbers early on, Colonel America is a pretty disappointing card so far.
As expected, the new 3-cost sees a bit of play in Discard oriented decks, particularly Hela and Dracula. Yet, the builds featuring the card aren’t the best for either archetype, telling me Colonel America is being carried by its deck rather than improving it.
As time passes, we should see less of the card, unless something happens that justifies running it.

Zombie Scarlet Witch Performance

Zombie Scarlet Witch should improve over time, as more Horde cards are revealed. Yet, until that happens, the 3-cost pass is off to one of the worst starts in the history of Snap for a season pass card.
Keep in mind, the bots are helping boost the metric of every card at the moment. If 0.18 cube average and 49.3% win rate is the card at its best, when 8-cubers are given on a silver platter, what will it be once we look at infinite only numbers next week ?

Bonus Challenge Decks
Not only both cards are off to a bad start, they also don’t synergize so we will have to complete their missions separately. At least, both are pretty obvious when it comes to the strategies they fit in, which should help build cohesive decks.
At the moment, Colonel America fits in Hela and Discard Dracula, two decks you can just play without caring about the 3-cost really.
For a bit more originality, Colonel America is also part of the Helicarrier build of Discard, a synergy we sometimes see pop up, mostly for fun reasons.
Zombie Scarlet Witch doesn’t pertain to a specific synergy, except for the Horde we don’t have all cards for. Then, the card has mostly used in decks able to play a lot of cards behind her.
Just like Colonel America, finding some synergies fitting that requirement isn’t that difficult. However, it is still unclear whether the season pass is required for any of those decks to perform at their best.
