During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
Dark Avengers: Bonus Challenges – January 10, 2025
This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Play On Reveal Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Victoria Hand starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Iron Patriot starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend. You can find the current best performing deck for each card down below, as well as some other options to match your collection or play style preferences.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new cards’ performance this week.

Victoria Hand Performance

It is always difficult to gauge the strength of the first cards of the month since bots are a part of the equation, but the overall ranking is a bit harder to fake. Although #171 isn’t bad (it’s almost in the top half of Marvel Snap cards, after all), there is plenty of room to grow in the future. A more interesting metric to look at, however, is the Total Meta Share. Victoria Hand represents 1% of the meta but racked up 1.8% of the cubes, which means the card is having a positive impact overall.
Post-Release Score:
Iron Patriot Performance

I expected Iron Patriot to be much higher in the overall ranking, especially considering how much success I’ve had with the card. For this first few days of the season, Iron Patriot has been posting good-but-not-particularly-stellar results, which is something we have grown accustomed to for Season Pass cards over the past few months.
Still, all the metrics are positive. I just think Iron Patriot could be much higher.
Post-Release Score:
Victoria Hand + Iron Patriot Decks
At the moment, Iron Patriot is kind of carrying Victoria Hand in my opinion. Even if one of these 2-Costs feels better than the other, it’s great for this weekend’s missions that so many decks feature them together.
At the moment, both cards are getting their best results in the Big Hands type of deck. These decks are focused on developing points with Devil Dinosaur and/or Gorr. There are also some Good Cards decks available that focus on leveraging strong abilities. These make copies of the cheap cards generated by Iron Patriot to multiply the benefits, and they also disrupt opponents a bit more than the Big Hand decks.
Closing Thoughts
This is a perfect first week to complete the weekend missions. Indeed, not only are both cards more than playable, they are also featured together in various decks (some of which haven’t been seen in quite a while). The Dark Avengers season is starting with some great releases so far!
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
