During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
We Are Venom: Bonus Challenge – October 25, 2024
This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| TBA | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Toxin starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Agent Venom starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend. You can find the current best performing deck for each card down below, as well as two other options to match your collection or play style preferences.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.

Toxin Performance

Toxin has received all kind of labels since its release. I believe the card is great, but I’ve been in love with the Bounce archetype for years. Some have called the card limited, as it only managed to leave its mark on the Bounce archetype so far. It has struggled to show an ability to contribute in other builds and often feels like a worse Beast.
I’ve also seen some say Toxin is pretty bad, which seems to be what the early performance metrics point toward. While the stat sheets agree with this claim, I think it is important to remember that Bounce is one of the hardest archetypes to play well. It always posts widely different results depending on the pilot.
This might look like an attempt at defending the poor performance of a card I consider to be solid, but, compared to Scream, Scorn, or Agent Venom, Toxin is a much harder card to utilize effectively. This has naturally made it look much worse early on while everyone is making mistakes and testing new ideas.

Agent Venom Performance

The Season Pass card continues to be a force in the Marvel Snap meta. Its numbers have reduced a little compared to the early weeks of the season, likely due to more mirror matches as well as a few solid decks like Mill and Discard emerging. However, the Cube Rate on Play is still absurdly high. For reference, a 0.78 Cube Average per match would land a deck in first place on any Tier List, and it could even warrant its own S Tier depending on the Win Rate.

Agent Venom & Toxin Decks
Not only are both cards this week are solid enough to get the missions done pretty quickly, there are also a couple of decks you can use to knock out both sets of missions at the same time.
You can split them if you wish. I would recommend you use Toxin in either Mill or Darkhawk Misery and Agent Venom in a Good Cards variety. But I decided to showcase some decks to get it all done at once.
Note that both of the decks above are pretty challenging to play well. Move is more straight-forward because you can focus on creating a ton of points and then defend them with Cosmo later on. Bounce will be a puzzle to solve every game because cards will fly all over the board as well as back and forth from your hand and the board. However, while the Move deck only has Cosmo and Havok as flexible cards, you have much more leeway in the Bounce deck if you want to swap some cards around.
Werewolf By Night and Juggernaut are flexible, but you could also consider cards like Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye, or Spider-Ham in the 1-Cost slots.
Closing Thoughts
Due to Bounce not being such an easy archetype to pick up, Toxin isn’t having the dominant showing I expected the card to have. Instead, Toxin is a very strong card in one deck (which is enough to complete your weekend missions at least). However, even though Bounce is a difficult deck to pilot, it is also a top tier contender at the moment. Investing your time into learning it might lead to more than just some Collector’s Tokens.
As for Agent Venom, it has been the same story since the start of the season. The only way not to complete the missions is to forget about them, as the Season Pass card has more decks than I can count that are able to win eight games.
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
