During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
We Are Venom: Bonus Challenge – October 18, 2024
This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Discard Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Scorn starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Agent Venom starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend. You can find the current best performing deck for each card down below, as well as two other options to match your collection or play style preferences.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.
For more information about the new card, make sure to check out our latest strategy guide on Scorn as well:
Scorn Performance

Scorn has been everything I expected it to be: an auto-include in your Discard deck. Unfortunately, Discard has also been what it has come to be known for: a big bag of points with very little flexibility.
In that sense, Scorn did make Discard better, but not in the areas that the synergy needed to improve on in order to perform at the highest level. With Scorn added to the deck, Discard has become even better for grinding to the Infinite rank, but it still lacks the flexibility and adaptability that the top-notch archetypes possess.

Agent Venom Performance

Agent Venom lost its #1 rank this week, but it remains one of the best cards in Marvel Snap. It’s arguably still the most influential on-curve play in the game. Entering the second half of the season, Agent Venom is still featured in plenty of archetypes (Good Cards, Move, Sera Control, and Bounce for example) that rely on its ability to generate points.
By the way, Second Dinner sent a few gifts to content creators, including a couple of Season Passes to give away. If you haven’t purchased yours yet, you might be lucky and win one soon! Stay tuned.
Post-Release Score:
Agent Venom Decks
If you look at the deck titles, you’ll see that I have used the same terminology here as the labels in our weekly Tier Lists, which means Agent Venom has at least three very competitive archetypes that are worth discussing at the moment.
Once again, Good Cards is the most flexible build, while Bounce is proactive choice and Sera Control the reactive choice. Whatever your preferred play style is, there’s really no reason that you can’t complete the Agent Venom missions and get your gold (as long as you own the card, which, let’s be honest, you really should by now).
Scorn Decks
Scorn has failed to help the Discard synergy be more than it already was. To complete the bonus missions this weekend, this deck should be more than enough. It’s simple enough to pilot that it can suit the majority of the community.
If playing Discard on the Ladder isn’t what you’re after, the archetype is doing pretty well in High Voltage right now. You could easily complete Scorn‘s missions there if you don’t want to risk your cubes, and you’ll make some progress towards unlocking Agony at the same time.
Closing Thoughts
Agent Venom remains one of the best cards in Marvel Snap, and you can use Scorn in High Voltage to play carefree. In this context, this weekend missions should be a breeze to get done.
I ventured into building a Discard Agent Venom deck, but Apocalypse just gets in the way. If you believe Scorn and Swarm are enough, though, you could give it a shot and complete all the missions at once (but splitting them up will probably get the job done faster).
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
