During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
We Are Venom: Bonus Challenge – October 11, 2024
This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Destroy Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Misery starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Agent Venom starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend. You can find the current best performing deck for each card down below, as well as two other options to match your collection or play style preferences.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.
For more information about the new card, make sure to check out our latest strategy guide on Misery as well:
Misery Performance

Misery was tested in a lot of archetypes, but very few were able to rack up cubes. As you can see, the card has struggled to achieve a 50% Win Rate, and the decks where Misery posted its best numbers (Darkhawk Ronan and Hammer Control) had decent stats before Misery joined them.
There was an OTA yesterday that brought a meaningful change to Zabu, which could impact the fortunes of a lot of 4-Cost cards—including Misery.
This is a welcome second chance for Misery, so let’s forget about the terrible start it’s had (for now).
Post-Release Score:
Agent Venom Performance

Look at those stats. Ranking: #1 tells you everything you need to know about Agent Venom. It’s the most influential card in Marvel Snap only a week after its release. The card allows you to Snap on Turn 2 when your deck is built around it, which heavily influences the current meta.
The most recent OTA nerfed Hela and Junk, neither of which were using Agent Venom, so the Season Pass card has a wide open field to rule Marvel Snap at the moment.
Post-Release Score:
Agent Venom Decks
I typically feature three different decks for you to pick from for the weekend missions, but Agent Venom can help more synergies than only these. Basically, if you have a deck with low power cards, it is probably a good idea to slot the card somewhere in there.
As for the game plan, the consensus right now seems to be “Snap on Turn 2 if you have Agent Venom“, and that’s something I have to agree with. From there, your deck should be able to generate enough points to secure the win, so focus on protecting your cards by using Cosmo or by controlling priority.
Misery Decks
Zabu, Iron Lad, and Ms. Marvel can be replaced with The Hood, Viper, and a strong standalone like Cosmo or Mystique if you’d rather play the deck this way.
Misery has only one archetype that is performing well performing—the Ronan Darkhawk deck—but that performance isn’t really because of Misery if I’m being honest. Indeed, that deck could perform even better with Agent Venom, Iron Man, and Mystique in the mix.
With this in mind, I thought this would be a good way to test the new Zabu while completing the weekend missions since Misery is a 4-Cost. It is still very early after the OTA, but I’m sure the deck can win four games. Plus, playing Zabu with a Snap might just give you a win on Turn 1 or 2.
The other two decks are brews that I have been experimenting with, for lack of a solid archetype to share according to the data. The Moon Girl build focuses on doubling Death and Demon for points, and the Mill hybrid develops fewer points but focuses on winning through sheer disruption. Gladiator could be a good fit there as well if you’re missing a card.
Closing Thoughts
Agent Venom is as fantastic of a card as it was last week, and it should be a walk in the park when it comes to winning eight games to claim your Gold. Misery will be a tougher challenge, though, so you might want to get your wins from Conquest if you are worried about your rank.
There is one thing I have to credit Misery for: there are tons of exotic decks that you can build around it. As such, the weekend missions could also be seen as a deckbuilding challenging for those of you who like to brew. You could pick the easy mode with Darkhawk and Ronan, or you could get creative with other ideas!
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
