Redwing benefited from a bug that allowed you to summon multiple cards rather than just the one. Even then the card didn’t post good numbers, so I have little faith about its ability to stay relevant in the future. When it comes to the weekend missions, though, there are multiple decks you can use since the Move synergy is a good support mechanic in the current environment.
Sam Wilson Captain America is being soft countered by Scream, which is limiting its ability to be a fantastic 2-Cost. Still, the card remains one of the game’s top tier performers; it’s a standalone great card on top of a staple in any Ongoing deck.
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Move Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Redwing starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Sam Wilson Captain America starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |
Redwing Performance

There is no sugarcoating it. The numbers don’t lie. Redwing is better when it stays in your deck instead of part of the action. Whether you look at the Win Rate or Cube Rate, both metrics are better On Draw than On Play, which basically means Redwing should not be played.
At the moment, there are only two decks using Redwing that are posting positive performances: Surtur 10 Power, the best deck in the game (and definitely not in need of the new 3-Cost), and a sort of Ramp deck that wouldn’t even be listed in a Tier List based on its current results (0.1 Cube Rate, 51.5% Win Rate). Every other deck with Redwing posted a losing record at the moment.

Sam Wilson Captain America Performance

The Cube Rate is a little alarming, but that’s easily explained by Scream gaining momentum as a solid counter to Sam Wilson Captain America. Otherwise, the Season Pass card still is a great addition to most decks and a certified staple in Ongoing builds alongside the original Captain America.
This isn’t the same level of dominance we’ve seen from Iron Patriot or Galacta—both of which dominated their entire season. Still, this is a great run so far for Sam Wilson.

Bonus Challenge Decks
Fortunately for Redwing, it can be played in the 10 Power archetype so you should have no trouble completing its associated missions. There are a few other decks you can use (although they are a little more gimmicky) that should be much more fun to play as well.
As such, I chose to focus on the recent 3-Cost for decks, especially considering Sam Wilson Captain America can be played in a flurry of decks and is already featured in two here.
