Hello everyone and welcome to Best Marvel Snap Decks of the Week! I’m Glazer of Snap Judgments: The Official Marvel Snap Zone Podcast, and in this article, I’m going to take you through all of my favorite decks this week. In addition to the podcast, I do my own daily videos where I scour the darkest corners of the internet (ahem X and the various Marvel Snap sites) to find the best decks in Marvel Snap before the meta notices.
Remember: Each deck title will take you to a video explanation of the deck, so don’t be shy – check them out!
Snap Judgments League Season 2 Top 4

Last weekend, my cash prize open tournament concluded its second season. Each of the Top 4 player’s decks has found an interesting place in the metagame.
Bishcona Top 4 Noki
Deck Thoughts
I’ve been talking about Noki – Loki-free Loki decks – in this space for ages. Bishcona took one of those decks to the top 4 of this prestigious tournament.
This list is built around two things – scaling up with cards like Thena, Angela, and Elsa, and countering opponents with Killmonger, Shadow King, Mobius M. Mobius. and U.S. Agent. Given the power of these cards, this deck was mere moments from making the finals; however, Shadow King, the key card against Silver Surfer, hid at the bottom of the deck one time too many, defeating Bishcona.
You can try this deck without U.S. Agent, replacing him with Shang-Chi. Jeff and Nocturne are needed as move cards that can help trigger Elsa, but if you cut Killmonger for a card like Polaris or Spider-Man, you can try Nightcrawler for 1 of the two. Red Guardian is the best Mobius replacement, but Gladiator or even Cosmo are worth a try.
Dikins Pixie Anni Top 4
Deck Thoughts
Dikins is a great player and a member of the playgroup that includes YoWoodyMJ, HuskyPuppies, and his opponent in this round, Butt.
Dikins brought an Annihilus Sersi clog list to the tournament. The list looks to use the power of Sentry and cards like Debrii to clog the opponent, then win with Cannonball. Of course, Pixie really spices things up here, giving compelling plays that opponents can’t foresee enough to counter. Yellowjacket is especially nice here – giving Pixie a chance to make another card free and putting a Mysterio clone or Rock to negative power, allowing it to be sent over by Annihilus.
Pixie is the only replaceable card here, possibly Jeff or Cable.
Butt Top 4 Stuff
Deck Thoughts:
Butt eliminated Jimmy Dikins from this tournament with this deck inspired by his teammate KX4N’s build, but he only played this list in the Top 4, not the finals.
Butt brought this Annihilus list that doesn’t run Annihilus to the top 4. Instead of Anni, Sersi can take care of negative cards, turning them positive, as can Lady Deathstrike, who, along with Killmonger and Carnage, enables Death. Mysterio, Killmonger food Squirrel Girl, and Sersi cards combine with several others in order to make Mockingbird cheap, too.
Nico is wholly replaceable here as Iceman, but the only other reasonable change here is Annihilus in for Lady Deathstrike, which makes Death harder to play.
Finalist LP Hovercraft Surfer
Deck Thoughts
LP Hovercraft was a finalist in this tournament with his Surfer build, based on a previous list by our own Den, who was featuring a list popularized by YoWoodyMJ!
Surfer is absolutely a top meta deck at this point, and this list is an example why. It doesn’t go way above everything, but it puts a lot of power everywhere with cards like Brood, Absorbing Man, Mockingbird, and Sebastian Shaw. The list also problem-solves exceptionally well between Rogue (replaced in the finals with another answer – Mobius), Red Guardian, and Killmonger. A lot of unpredictable power and some smart answer cards make this a great meta-call.
Shaw or Gladiator are needed, but one can be out. Red Guardian can also go, but then Rogue must be in the deck. Hope Summers is also nice, but by no means pivotal. Replacements include Nocturne, Phastos, Sera, Spider-Man, Polaris, and Cosmo. Almost any good three makes at least some sense!
Butt Wins!
Deck Thoughts: Butt was able to win the tournament with what has since become known as the best deck in Marvel Snap.
This deck is absolutely wild. It scales early with Thena and Angela while cheating out huge power with Mockingbird and Sasquatch. Sage gives a bunch of extra late game surprise power, and Iron Man lets the deck go over everything. Ravonna makes many of the key cards cheaper while Juggernaut locks in lanes against many decks and Nocturne adds even more unpredictability. This deck is, very simply, the best.
Nocturne can be Cosmo or Jeff in this list, and Sage can be replaced by Wolfsbane. The other cards are required, sorry.
Top Climbing Decks

The best players in Marvel Snap never stop brewing. These players were climbing towards the top of the Infinite Leaderboard over the past week.
FAK Crazy Thanos Returns
Deck Thoughts
Crazy, who has begun streaming as CrazyMSnap, was the #1 player on the Infinite Leaderboard in March and April with Thanos. Phastos has allowed him to bring Thanos back.
This is an expensive list, both in cost and curve, but new card Phastos makes the curve far more reasonable. Phastos can make Stones free or better plays with more power. Add in that consistency to the consistency added by an early Mockingbird through Stones, Hope Summer cheating out two six cost cards, and Blob just being stupidly huge, and you have a deck!
Red Guardian is the easiest card to replace here, as he can be Rogue or Shadow King. Jeff can be either of those, Cull Obsidian, or even Okoye. The rest of the cards here are needed, I think, even Mobius, as if the opponent can energy cheat, they can go around or over you in painful ways.
Macdonaldinho Lockdown
Deck Thoughts
Our friend and Lambyfam member Macdonaldinho climbed into the top 300 from above 1000 with this awesome clog list.
This clog list has two innovations from what we saw as the regular version at the start of last season. First, it uses Titania with Green Goblin and White Widow, one of my favorite and most powerful combinations in Snap. Next, it adds the newly buffed Stegron as a clog piece. No one is playing around Stegron locking them up in the right, and his power is good enough to make it worth it. Add in Cannonball and all the other clog pieces – this deck is absolutely dominant.
Red Hulk can be Magneto or Alioth for this list. Nebula, or Jeff can be Nightcrawler and Nebula is kind of okay as Sunspot or Iceman, too. Sage can be Wolfsbane here or Gladiator.
Spac3 Street Urchins and Tech Virgins
Deck Thoughts
Spac3 aka Silky Johnson is a great player from that aforementioned Woody group.
Here, we have a list that abuses Sersi with Shuri. Combining the two cards is an awesome amount of power, as you get a huge 14-power Sersi who often makes an unbeatable lane and can be copied by Taskmaster. Ravonna lets Shuri lead into Sentry, too, which can likewise be copied with Taskmaster, and then The Void can be Sersi’d on 6. There are countless combos to this powerful and extremely fun deck.
Nico is unimportant here and can be Iceman. White Widow can be Jeff, Quake, or Medusa. Sage, as usual, can be Wolfsbane or Gladiator. Finally, Nocturne can be Spider-Man or Jeff just fine.
Xunzzz #1 Zoo
Deck Thoughts
Former #1 player Xunzzz is back at it with this Zoo list, reclaiming the top spot.
The first thing to know is that Alioth can be Gilgamesh and depending on the list and player, it’s unclear which is better. You can also remove Caiera, Jeff, or Nocturne and run both. The list is about spreading power using 1-cost cards, Ka-Zar, and Blue Marvel. So long as you can do that, you can pressure every lane and win a lot of cubes in Marvel Snap.
Jeff, Nebula, Nocturne, and Caiera are all replaceable cards. Mobius, Red Guardian, Rogue, Super-Skrull, Iceman – all of these changes make perfect sense. Even Armor is worth a look. Alioth can only be replaced with Gilgamesh, though, and Mockingbird is irreplaceable.
