Zombie Giant-Man is a Series 4 cards joining Marvel Snap for the October 2025 Season, Undead Horde. It is a 5-Cost, 3-Power card that reads: On Reveal: Horde +1, then this gains Power equal to your Zombie Horde.
Today, let’s explore the new Series 4 strengths and, of course, the best decks to try it out in.
Series 4 cards can be purchased for 3,000 Collector’s Tokens from the Token Shop. They will be also be included in the Seasonal Series 4 Snap Pack for 2,500 Collector’s Tokens during their season and the following two.

Zombie Giant-Man is a very simple card to analyse, as it will get stronger as our Zombie Horde grows. Unfortunately, a lot of the other Zombie cards won’t be out until later in the season. Indeed,
Zombie Scarlet Witch looks like a solid card, but not enough on her own to warrant running Zombie Giant-Man, making the 5-cost useless on release.
Once we have completed our army of Zombies, the 5-cost should become the Gilgamesh of that bunch, allowing to drop a big power card to anchor a location. Looking at the other cards, we should routinely be able to grow our horde to 10, making Zombie Giant-Man a [5/15] total with its own horde +1 accounted for.
This is a respectable number, although I feel like a Darkhawk will be able to rival that, while also disrupting the opponent’s deck in the process. Same for Gilgamesh in a Kazoo type of deck.
Plus, Zombie Giant-Man has the huge downside of losing all its power if our Zombie Horde gets hit by a Shadow King or Shang-Chi, which will of course happen if we don’t run protective cards.
Overall, this feels like a lot of work for a high power, but fragile reward.
The Verdict: Should You Get Zombie Giant-Man ?
The card is weak to Shadow King, and probably to Shang-Chi as well, while these two can also target our Zombie Horde and kill two birds with one stone. Because of that obvious counter, I can’t vouch for Zombie Giant-Man.
Yet, when that doesn’t happen, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the 5-cost be a sort of Gilgamesh, representing that big power card we play on turn six to take a location.
Pre-Release Score:

Red Shift managed to find a home, and this new [2/4] looks pretty similar with its targeted discard. Then, we at least know Zombie Power Man will synergize with Agatha Harkness, which might be enough already.
However, I feel like there could be much more, since discarding multiple times can be extremely strong for several discard decks. The fact it is the harder side of our hand to control makes it a little worse, but we have so many discard targets in the game, I’m sure we can get multiple good hits per game if Zombie Power Man keeps triggering at the end of turn.

These four already represent great targets, and can be discarded multiple times. We could also add Proxima Midnight to that list, and go as far as consider X-23 and Wolwerine if we wanted to go all in on the new 2-cost.
Last, we also have to discuss the synergy with Colonel America, as Zombie Power Man winning its location could be enough to make the new Series 5 3-cost represent a ton of power.

The Verdict: Should You Get Zombie Power Man ?
We already discussed the card in our review of Colonel America. However, I feel like Zombie Power Man might be the most important of the two. Indeed, targeted discard is always welcome, and Colleen Wing recently lost one power.
We could see that change as an attempt to make Zombie Power Man look stronger, and honestly it kind of works.

Zombie Giant-Man Decks
There is little point talking about Zombie Giant-Man without the other cards, so let’s just assume we have the rest of the Zombie Horde available for this one.
The first two are just existing shells with enough room to fit the Horde cards. To be fair, I’m pretty sure both Bounce or Iron Hand would get worse if forced to include four new cards when they already have plenty of other ways to raise their points potential.
However, this last one is pretty fun, and actually makes sense because the Zombie Horde got added to the game. Here, the goal is to create a big Zombie Horde, Kitty Pryde or Zombie Giant-Man and duplicate it with Arnim Zola.

Conclusion
Zombie Power Man is a bit more niche due to its discard synergy, but I expect that card to be stronger because of that synergy as well. However, Zombie Giant-Man could be more appealing since it pairs with this month’s theme. Unfortunately, the 5-cost probably will remain unplayable until late in the season, since we will most Horde themed cards for it to be worth running. From there, we will see if the synergy can develop in peace, or whether Shadow King will prove to be too big of a problem.
I hope this review of the new card was helpful. You can find everyone on the Marvel Snap Zone team in our community discord to have a chat or ask any questions.
