Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.
The video above actually has three fully new bounce decks, but the Doc Guapo one is not only the most distinct, but it’s flown all the way up to rank 17 on the Infinite Leaderboard.
This deck is absolutely a blast – for over a year, I’ve been searching for a deck that can effectively use both Werewolf by Night and Hit-Monkey. I never would have thought the connective tissue would be Beta Ray Bill, but that’s where we are!
The simplest goal of this deck is to play Bill’s hammer twice. To do that, after you play him trigger King Eitri. Turn 5 is then a Hammer, whatever else you can, and a bounce card (ideally Beast). If Beast was used earlier – on turn 3 – then Grandmaster can be used to retrigger either the Beast or the Hammer, and the bounce can come in the middle location. These plays lead to at least a 24 Power Beta Ray Bill, and have a few free cards in hand on the last turn.
Two free 1-Cost cards and a Hammer to play on turn 6 is enough for a 9 Power Hit-Monkey, but the play of 3-4 cards on turn 5 means that Sasquatch can also be played that turn. Werewolf is ideally out on turn 3, but in certain situations just moving him 2-3 times on the last turn is enough – that’s a 9 Power Wolf! When you add in the Demon, Rocket Racoon, and Silver Sable (the last two with multiple triggers potentially), this deck can compete in terms of power with anything while being wholly unpredictable and thus winning more cubes.
Card Replacements
- Needs: Toxin, Eitri, Werewolf by Night, Sasquatch
- Beta Ray Bill -> Thor
- Grandmaster -> Falcon or JT Falcon
- Sable, Nico -> Hawkeye, Iceman, Spider-Ham
- Hit Monkey -> Sage
Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Eitri > Hood > Sable

- Turn 3: Wolf > 1s. Bounce in a corner if Grandmaster is in hand.
- Turn 4: Bill (and trigger Eitri) > Wolf +1 or Bounce
- Turn 5: Bounce 1s and Hammer (Beast is important here, don’t forget you can Grandmaster him!).
