Snap Judgments Deck of the Day: MY Day 1 Infinite, Rank 51, 83% WR!

Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

I usually like to credit whoever made the deck, but for this one, I have no idea. I wasn’t planning to hit Infinite with it; I just had a theory about Marvel Snap that I wanted to test with this deck. Yesterday, I got an easy Infinity Border with a go big move Living Tribunal list, and all my highest win rates lately have been decks that go absolutely huge. So I tried this list to test this theory out:

So, this deck was meant to be a quick test of that. Starting in the high 70s, I immediately went 39-8, +110 cubes, and hit Infinite. I was able to beat multiple Killmonger destroy decks. I only played 2, but I went 2-0 against Supergiant, too. The run was bot light (check the VOD for the full run).

There’s a few small tips here. Black Cat is priority on turn 1 or 2, followed by Spider-Ham on 1 or Bruce Banner on 2. All of these should be played blind right. If they get destroyed, it’s no big deal, but they can also win you the game that way. Try to hold Sunspot until the end of the game if you suspect a Killmonger – he can get insanely big and it’s worth trying to play him late without priority. Hydra Bob is for a turn 4 play of himself with Prodigy to copy Invisible Woman First Steps or, better, Jacosta. Copying Jacosta with Prodigy and hitting IW FS is 10 triggers. Havok will top out at 6 (if played the last turn) since he’ll run out of energy. That’s usually less than Sunspot and almost always less than Thena. Be careful to have a 2 play for Thena at the end or she won’t trigger. Marvel Boy is the deck’s secret sauce. People don’t expect him, and a sudden plus 6 or more to each lane is how this deck wins 8-cubes.

Card Replacements

  1. Needs: Invisible Woman, Thena, Jacosta, Prodigy, Marvel Boy
  2. Hydra Bob. -> Squirrel Girl if Marvel Boy
  3. Fantasticar -> Omega Sentinel
  4. Bruce -> Fantastic First Steps

Turn by Turn

  1. Turn 1: Black Cat > Ham > Sunspot > pass (location notes)
  2. Turn 2: Black Cat > Bruce > Ham = Thena
  3. Turn 3: Jocasta > Invisible Woman > Marvel Boy > 2+1
  4. Turn 4: 1+Jocasta/Invis > Hellicarrier
  5. Turn 5: Prodigy on Jocasta/Invis and Thena or other cheap card
  6. Turn 6: Marvel Boy and Havok, trigger everything… you can still play an activate on Jocasta/Prodigy, too.
