Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.

Kang, originally released two years ago with much hype, turned out to be a terrible card. He’s finally been fully redesigned, and while he’s not terrible, per se, I am certainly whelmed by his performance.
Kang now adds three extra cards to your deck, as he becomes 4-copies of other 3-6 power cards at game start. That’s a lot of extra cards in your deck for the potential of an extra good 3-4. The extra cards mean that he’s singificantly worse in synergy decks than one would hope.
Silver Surfer, Victoria Hand, and Wiccan decks all want to see their namesake cards. Kang makes that happen less often. I even saw a Wiccan deck running Kang, Quicksilver, and Domino! The math on that leading to actually getting Wiccan on turn 4 is atrocious.
Further, while Kang is great with Quinjet, he doesn’t really matter for the other cards Quinjet goes with. Kang doesn’t work at all with Victoria Hand. He makes no sense with Loki. Arishem is fine with him, but doesn’t especially want three cost cards. Mockingbird decks? That’s cool, but it makes you less likely to see that card or others like Mysterio that are key enablers.
Still, at least Kang is finally fun. I doubt he’ll last as a relevant card, but he is a blast as a high variance spice to the metagame for a short while.
This is the only good Kang deck where Kang actually enchances the deck that I found.
