Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Check out the video for a verbal explanation of this and three other new decks.
It’s impossible to say Kahhori has done anything but disappoint in her first day in the game. She, after Firehair and so many others, is an amazing lesson in holding keys/tokens for a few days to see how good a card is in practice instead of just relying on theory.

That isn’t to say Kahhori is bad – she’s just not a day 1 game changer. She wasn’t an immediate plug and play obvious upgrade in every shell, but she did perform well in several places. Yesterday’s deck was one I did really well with, even if the overall win rate with the deck was lower – Agamotto seems to be hard for a lot of players to really parse. She’s putting in good work in some Victoria Hand shells, but we’re still working towards the very best of those.
And then there’s Thanos. Thanos is pretty damn happy for what’s usually a [4/12].
On Stream last night, I went an easy 8-2 with this list, but it wasn’t just the wins – it was how consistently effective Kahhori was spiking my power that really made this deck sing. What I did for this list was take out Wiccan for Luna Snow – I prefer the consistency of Luna Snow to Wiccan‘s upside – and Kahhori for Super-Skrull. Skrull is great if Ongoing is everywhere, but this week, much of that Ongoing seems to be Victoria Hand, which isn’t doing much for me. Kahhori meanwhile, was a really huge power spike. Turn 4 was previously a set up turn, but dropping Kahhori now is an extra 12 Power. On a clogged board, that’s a massive amount, especially when it can be further buffed by Blue Marvel or Spectrum.
This deck just makes amazing use of Thanos Infinity Stones. Space, Power, and Soul are all Ongoing cards, and so work amazingly with Spectrum and Goliath. Space, Mind, Time, and Soul all draw cards, letting you see important pieces like Blue Marvel or Mockingbird (and also making her cheaper) while also keeping your hand full for Kahhori.
But the MVP here is Cosmo. If you know the metagame, cards like Kahhori and Speed make it easy to keep priority. Read the opponent – almost every deck has an important On Reveal. Stopping that is often a win. I love this list.
Card Replacements
- Twitch.tv/PulseGlazer take on Derek
- Needs: Thanos, Mockingbird, Sam, Goliath
- Luna -> Wiccan, Phastos, Hope Summers
- Kahhori -> Super-Skrull, Galacta
- Speed -> Cap
Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Draw Rocks
- Turn 2: Sam > Goliath > Draw > Dazzler
- Turn 3: Luna > Speed -> Mockingbird as she’s freeish from here on out. Draw and 2 is fine.
- Turn 4: Kahhori or earlier plays
- Turn 5: Blarvel or Cosmo and 2… sometimes Thanos
- Turn 6: Mockingbird, Blarvel… a combo of 2s. Sometimes Spectrum.
I should be on Stream playing this and many other decks at around 3:15 today!
