Decks with Spider-Man Brand New Day
The numbers are the same as last week for Spider-Man Brand New Day in the Infinite rank, but have improved if we expand to all ranks. The card’s flexibility certainly helps to remain competitive no matter what the environment looks like.
If Move is dominant, Spider-Man Brand New Day will be in that deck. If Scream becomes a popular counter, the 1-cost can be in that deck as well. If Move is in a stalemate and you were just looking for a good, flexible deck to play. Spider-Man Brand New Day also makes sense in that situation.
This explains why Spider-Man Brand New Day will always find a way to be a part of the competitive environment, but also not look like a dominant card. Chances are, the season pass will be in some excellent decks and not so great ones at the same time.

Decks with Scorpion Brand New Day
Overall, Scorpion Brand New Day‘s performance isn’t good, with neither metrics in the green in the infinite rank, and barely hitting parallel at all ranks.
However, this might be due to the decks we are building around Scorpion Brand New Day so far. Indeed, the secret ingredient for a successful afflict list at the moment looks to be Blink.
With the 5-cost in the mix, Scorpion Brand New Day decks go from a respectable 52 to 54% win rate to the 57 – 59% range.
This makes sense, as not drawing the 6-cost means playing a good old affliction deck, which we know isn’t a staple competitor in the Marvel Snap metagame. With that in mind, if you are going to build a deck around Scorpion Brand New Day, make sure you maximize your chances to actually get it on the board.

Post-OTA Bonus Challenge Decks
It was pretty simple to find three decks with a strong track record for each card this week. Obviously, Scorpion Brand New Day is more limited than Spider-Man Brand New Day, the 1-cost still representing a solid standalone addition to flexible archetypes.
However, the 6-cost found a friend in Blink, allowing to build decks designed to leverage the Ongoing ability. Most of these decks will fare terribly if Scorpion Brand New Day doesn’t show up, but look snap worthy when certain the signature card will show up.
