Marvel Snap has announced the second Series Drop for February 2023, which will happen in the next patch. The exact date is not currently yet known, but it could come before the start of the next Season on March 6, 2023. This announcement comes after the first Series Drop, where we saw the likes of meta heavy hitters such as Shuri, Bast, She-Hulk, all drop down a Series and allowing easier access to meta decks for players. There are no back to back Series Drops, so cards that dropped last month may have to wait another month before dropping down further.

Series 5 to 4

As expected, the recently nerfed Season Pass card Silver Surfer goes down following the pattern of Black Panther. Other notable downgrades from Series 5 to 4 include Darkhawk and Knull, which has been played in various top decks. In fact, we did a more in-depth guide on Darkhawk and some great decks it can be played in recently, which you can check out below!
On the other hand, Sentry is a card that is not a card that we expect to be played widely yet as there are much better 4 energy 8 power card options available in the game currently. Even with Viper, we’re not sure if it’s worth the effort! With more players bound to open it now, let’s see if any deck can emerge using this fringe card.
Remember, players will eventually get the First Edition Badge (not yet implemented in game) to these cards if you obtain them before they drop in Series.
Series 4 to 3

The lesser played S.H.I.E.L.D. cards in Series 4 makes their way down to Series 3. Now players may have more of an incentive to experiment more with them, as they could have merits on their own! This means that M'Baku, Attuma, and Orka stays in Series 4 for another month, as the first cards to enter Series 4.
As we wait for the patch and Series Drop in the meantime, you can prepare for the drop by checking out our Series Drop and Token Shop guide!
What do you think? Will you be pinning any of the cards right away? Let us know in the comments below!
