Marvel Snap is a game pushing you towards a 50% win rate, whether you like or not. Locations, matchups, draw variance… there are plenty of small random elements you have to deal with in order to maximize your cube income. In order to do so, the game gives us the snap and retreat mechanics to impact the stakes of each match.
However, us puny humans want to win every single match, like most other card games push us to, and get quickly frustrated when we only achieve a 50% win rate, the expected ratio in Marvel Snap.
Quickly, we start testing various decks, look for a hidden gem we will never find, and start blaming all possible aspects of the game, but rarely ourselves.
In this session, we put the emphasis on the idea, not the deck itself, which you think will bring you the most cubes in the current metagame. In order to do so, it was important to understand how does a metagame function, and the different layers it can have. Once you figured where you stand, you should have a much clearer picture of which situations you can snap in, and those when just staying is a waste of a Cube.

Need help figuring out why you might be stuck on the ladder? It might just due to you trying to accomplish one deck, and your deck being built for another.
Remember those sessions are free for any Premium member to Marvel Snap Zone, in addition to dedicated Discord channels to chat and share your questions, knowledge, and passion of the game!
