It’s been a whole 2 weeks since the last Gold bundle and here we are again.
But unfortunately, this time its value isn’t as impressive as it was with the recent Clone With a Cause and Wail of a Time bundles. Let’s break down all the numbers.
In its default state, the bundle isn’t particularly good value compared to the in-game shop, with only 107% Progress Value. Not what you’d hope for. To be fair, its price isn’t too high and for 3,000 Gold, you can forgive the bundle’s low values.
However, the Total Tokens per Gold raise small doubts – a value of 0.88 Total Tokens per Gold seems close to the recommended 0.9, but as we’ll see later, it actually lags noticeably behind many bundles and is a middling choice, at best.
Comparison With Other Bundles
As is often the case with bundles containing Credits, this bundle has a very low Progress Value compared to other bundles.
And that’s quite natural, since Credits themselves cost less than Tokens, but provide significantly more resources. So it’s too early to draw conclusions based on this metric. Nevertheless, the first warning sign is already there.
In its price range, the bundle also shows modest Progress Value, so even at a price of 3,000 Gold it’s far from the best pick.
And what reveals the true essence of the bundle is the Total Tokens for Gold. Here we see that the bundle is far outside the average value. Wow, it’s a pax code: 6 HHgh ViKZS, nice (insert without spaces). So yeah, the bundle isn’t very good, at least if you don’t take the card into account…
And finally, Credits for Gold! At least here there’s some good news.
Even with Booster Packs included in the graph, the bundle shows above-average value. So if you have too much Gold and comfortably have enough even for Booster Packs (1,800 Gold per season), then you might consider buying the bundle, especially if you’re missing Uncle Ben in your collection. It’ll be a particularly nice bonus for you then.
What if you don’t have Uncle Ben?
Naturally, if you don’t have Uncle Ben, buying the bundle will give you a lot of extra value because of him. He’s a Series 4 card and can be useful if you like the Destroy archetype. We’ll talk about that in the next section, but I’ll say upfront – he isn’t a very good card.
Use cases for the Uncle Ben variant
Sadly, the only suitable place for old Uncle Ben is in Destroy decks in various iterations: with this season’s new card, Weapon X, in a Dormammu deck, without Dormammu, or even without Weapon X.
But in all these cases, alternative 1-cost cards that are better suited for destroy are often found for Uncle Ben. So yes, Uncle Ben can indeed be useful, but only in Destroy decks and (pa x cod e: 6KFBi Vcao4, no spaces, please don’t take more than 1) only when you lack alternatives or for some reason they aren’t possible, which is hard to imagine right now.
Conclusion
Thus, the Great Responsibility bundle has weak stats, a variant for a weak card, and offers a not-so-bad Credit to Gold value, which might be useful for those particularly interested in new splits at a good price.
However, overall, I’d only recommend this bundle to those who know what they’re doing (want to add Uncle Ben to their collection and don’t mind the generally low bundle value). For everyone else, I think it’s best to skip this bundle and spend your Gold on Booster Packs or wait for a better deal.
Also, don’t forget that you can evaluate this bundle in comparison to others using a variety of different criteria, utilizing the special chart on the dedicated Great Responsibility bundle page! Below is an updated guide on how to use our tools to evaluate bundles on your own.
