This week’s Featured Location is Monster Island: Add a 9-Power Monster here for each player. This is a brand new location that is now added the location card pool and will show up 40% more frequently in games during the feature period, for the next 48 hours.
Decks with Monster Island
Leveraging a free 9-Power card is the key, so controlling it and moving it to your desired location seems to be a good play, using cards like Heimdall or Doctor Strange.
The game hints at Iron Man, which can also boost the location by another 9 power for 5 energy!
Conversely, Shang-Chi is also a great card to have in your collection to counter your opponent’s Monster. It is also not the best setup for the popular Destroy themed decks that involve cards such as Carnage or Deathlok.
