Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. Decks with Firehair
Today’s deck isn’t a Firehair deck, and there’s a good reason for that. Still, I thought on the last day of the Firehair Spotlights it was worth discussing the card.
Firehair is, right now, mostly used in a package with The Hood and Misery. There are plenty of other cards to mix and match in there—notably, Iron Patriot is great—and later in the week once Venom was added, we saw some Anti-Venom and White Tiger builds. Mill never developed as a real home, and Firehair has landed with a thud.
The main reason for this is that Firehair was a big enough release to warp the meta. While the card is strong, it’s not quite strong enough to survive a ton of cards being played to counter it. Furthermore, the two best generic cards in the game are 2-Costs: Iron Patriot and Sam Wilson Captain America. Firehair is not as good or as omnipresent as these (thank goodness), so she has had trouble finding a home.
Still, even if Firehair didn’t reach expectations this week, I think she’s still a good buy as long as you have Misery. The reign of Iron Patriot and Sam Wilson can’t last forever, and the second they’re brought in line Firehair will start to look better. Moreover, if datamines are to be believed, Elixir and Kid Omega are both coming and will work amazingly Firehair. She’s kind of mediocre now, but this feels like Frigga and Luna Snow: I think this card will eventually be awesome.

Today’s deck is, once more, from Coougarrr, the rank 5 player. Here he has combined Bullseye and Silver Surfer into an incredibly strong package.
First, by taking advantage of Hope Summers and Luna Snow into Galacta, this deck can copy some of the strongest threes in Snap using Frigga. An extra huge Brood, Sage, or Daken after Galacta and is just a ton of power. Grand Master can work in a similar way, getting extra Broodlings on Turn 5 or another Muramasa Shard. That last play, when combined with Frigga and Bullseye, can lead to one or two 32 Power cards.
If you don’t Galacta and merely go Daken, Frigga and Muramasa Shard, Grand Master and Daken…. you’ll then have energy to play the last of the Shards and Killmonger, too. There’s also the Silver Surfer play pattern of just getting big cards with Galacta and Surfer and buffing them, but the weirdness of this leads to extra wins and cubes and should really be experienced firsthand!

Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Nova
- Turn 2: Pass
- Turn 3: Hope/Luna > Bullseye > Daken
- Turn 4: Galacta > Frigga on Daken
- Turn 5: Daken/Bullseye and Grand Master or Sage/Daken/Brood + Frigga
- Turn 6: Big card or Killmonger + Silver Surfer. If extra energy and Killmonger, play Shards for Killmonger; if not, activate Bullseye
