Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone every weekday with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. If you want three more new decks today, check out this video!
For today’s deck, I was informed of an extremely cool low Collection Level player’s deck that hit top 10. Drk_Rzr is at 3k Collection Level, a bit more than halfway done with Series 3, and he peaked at Rank 3 with this list. He is currently at Rank 9, as of this writing… and he’s all of 16-years-old! He may be streaming soon, too, so go check out and support this Snap prodigy.
Victoria Hand is an S-Tier card. There are no ifs or caveats needed—she’s one of the best cards in Marvel Snap. Her +2 power makes simple cards like
I’ll get to the card generation momentarily, but Frigga, a card that was maligned upon release to the point where it received a point buff, has found several Tier 1 homes, including a spot in nearly every Victoria Hand deck (especially since the second Victoria starts with bonus power since it was created in hand). Moon Girl is, however, rarely found in these decks and is quite spicy. In addition to getting an extra Victoria Hand, Moon Girl essentially says that ALL the cards she hits get +2 power for each Victoria Hand. They even get discounted by one with Quinjet! Playing cards at -1 Cost and +2 Power is a mighty good way to win games of Marvel Snap.
Honestly, you don’t even need extra Victoria Hands or a Moon Girl to win with this list. Agent Coulson, Maria Hill, and the current Season Pass card Iron Patriot all generate unpredictable cards. These cards just force your opponent into impossible plans; how can they know if you have a 1-Cost Legion thanks to Iron Patriot or a 1-Cost Shadow King with Maria Hill and Quinjet? There’s just no way.
There’s one more unpredictability engine here: Copycat. Copycat can be any card in their deck, and even though it is possible to whiff and hit a Morbius with no discard, you’re fairly often stealing eight cubes with an unpredictable [3/5] Iron Man or Gorr.
The last benefit of card generation here is that it gives you passive power. If The Collector is on the board, his power just grows as you generate. Devil Dinosaur benefits from all those other cards you generated and couldn’t play. Everything in this deck works together with precision.
Card Replacements
- Needs: Victoria Hand, Frigga
Kate Bishop , Iron Patriot -> Mirage, Valentina- Copycat -> Juggernaut, Rocket and Groot, etc.
Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Quinjet > Maria Hill
- Turn 2: Victoria Hand if Frigga > Iron Patriot > The Collector (value goes up if Moon Girl)
- Turn 3: Whichever 3-Cost wins Iron Patriot; Frigga for Victoria; Agent Coulson if no Moon Girl
- Turn 4: Moon Girl or two 2-Costss
- Turn 5: Devil Dino or first of generated cards/generate cards; Iron Patriot card / Frigga.
- Turn 6: All the generated stuff; Devil Dino + 1-Cost; Tech (Rogue, Copycat)
That’s it for today, don’t forget to check today’s video for more great decks!
