Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone every weekday with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. If you want three more new decks today, check out this video!
Sizer was the #4 player four times in 2024 and has started 2025 in the exact same position. He’s been number one with numerous decks—most notably Lockdown and Darkhawk—and he has become known as the game’s best Move player. His number ones have been with either Move Bounce or the deck I’m showcasing today. When Move was nerfed, he was the exact person to go to in order to check its quality. He proceeded to go 45 and 3, so it’s safe to say that Move is still utterly insane. Thanks for letting us know, Sizer. Check out the game’s best player at Twitch.tv/Sizer2654.
Sizer’s deck here is split into three categories: Move payoffs, Move enablers, and tech cards.
Human Torch would be the main payoff if he wasn’t a 1-Cost. That cost makes him vulnerable to Killmonger, but it’s not hard to get him to unbeatable power. Because of Human Torch‘s cost, the main mover is often Vulture. At +6 power per move, he doesn’t reach Human Torch‘s heights, but he’s still a terrifying, lane-winning presence. Think of the work it would take for Werewolf By Night to get to merely moving Vulture once for context. Dagger has gotten worse with her recent nerf, but she’s still totally fine as option #3. She’s a 2-Cost that gets between +6 and +8 power per move. That works out pretty well, even if she no longer approaches Human Torch‘s power.
The Move enablers are Araña, Ghost-Spider, Iron Fist, Madame Web, Cloak, and Heimdall. The first three all have similar uses; they are here to boost your payoffs early. You want some early power for the late moves, which are Cloak and Heimdall. The goal with Cloak is to play it Turn 5 in the right lane. This leaves an opponent to struggle with all of your options as tons of power can move to the right and, potentially, the center if you decide to play Heimdall, too. Madame Web is the best move enabler in Marvel Snap, but she’s an easy target for Red Guardian. That’s why this list runs a specific tech card to protect her ability.
Cosmo is the best tech card in this list. Playing the good boy on Madame Web early not only protects her from interaction, but it can also later be moved to disrupt an opponent and win the game. Mobius M. Mobius is the swing spot, but a ton of the top decks really want cost reduction (from Swarm to Skaar). Mobius says Nope to those decks and makes Mister Negative an easy win! Alioth is your closer tech card. If you’re worried about a Shang-Chi or Shadow King, Alioth protects your cards, and with Cosmo you can confidently lock in a win.
Card Replacements
- Needs: Araña, Ghost-Spider, Madame Web
- Mobius M. Mobius -> Copycat, Doctor Strange
- Alioth -> Juggernaut I guess, maybe Frigga
- If you don’t have Araña, try Multiple Man and Hulkbuster
Turn by Turn
- Turn 1: Araña > Human Torch (only if directly into Madame Web
- Turn 2: Madame Web (to set up you Vulture) > Human Torch if Araña and either Iron Fist or Ghost-Spider
- Turn 3: Cosmo or Mobius if they’re good, or get Vulture/Dagger ready to move
- Turn 4: Move the Move cards, and make sure to keep things landing center and left if Cloak
- Turn 5: Last mover / Mobius + Cloak right
- Turn 6: Heimdall or Alioth
That’s it for today, don’t forget to check today’s video atop the page for more great decks!
