Marvel Snap has always been a game about collecting your favorite card Variants and showing them off in matches. Many incredible variants have long been locked behind Bundles that have already passed… until now!
Each Season, the Collector’s Vault will be live on every player’s Shop section for a limited time (usually 4 days), bringing back the special variants that were once in Bundles after being locked away for a year! In this guide, we will break down everything to know!
What is the Collector’s Vault?
The vault is a special event where you can gain access to 6 variants that are bundle exclusives. These variants aren’t free of course, but the prices do vary. These limited variants are divided into 3 price points and rarities:

When the vault opens, you will see 6 randomly selected variants from the available pool. They will reveal face down at first, but you can click on them to reveal the featured variant you pulled.
There is only 1 guaranteed part of the vault: If you aren’t offered an Exquisite variant, your next vault will guarantee at least 1 random Exquisite choice.
What Are the Odds?
With different rarities comes different odds of seeing them. Amazing is the most common, followed by Sensational, and finally Exquisite as the most rare. Second Dinner has a chart where they outline the exact odds of each shop variation possible:
As you can see, Exquisite variants are not only more expensive, but also much harder to find. This means snagging a variant you like while it is featured is very important. It may be quite some time before you see it again.
How Often Will the Vault Open?
The developers aren’t setting a hard answer on this yet, but said they aim to bring the Vault at least once per season. During the specific week it is open, you will always have the same 6 variants. This gives you some time to come up with some Gold for that variant you have your eye on.
The exact week the Vault will open during each season may vary. The vault also opens for all players at the same time and is not random for each account.
What Variants are Eligible?
Any variant that was part of a bundle will eventually be available in the Collector’s Vault. Specifically, as soon as a variant has been available for 1 year, it will be added to the vault.

Is there a cost to opening the vault?
No! Seeing what variants are avalible to you is completely free. The only cost is purchasing the variant if you choose to.
Will Season Pass variants be avaliable in the Vault?
That is not planned at this time.
Does the Vault make bundles less valuable?
Since only 6 variants are avaliable per Vault opening, and only eligible after 1 year, bundles will still be the most effective way to secure these variants.
Will we be able to get bundled Avatars, Titles, and Cardbacks too?
Currently it is only Vatiants.
Can I target or wishlist a variant I want?
Unfortunately, no. The variants that appear are random each opening, so you will have to get lucky.
Will variants rotate throughout the week the Vault is open?
No, your 6 featured variants will remain the same until the Vault closes and reopens at a later date.
Will these variants also be added to the Daily Offer shop?
These variants are not being added to the general variants pool or daily offer shop. The only way to get them is through the Collector’s Vault.
