Complete the Bonus Challenge Missions efficiently using our decks, or find out how they are performing with our review and decide if you should get the card!
During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
Young Avengers: Bonus Challenge – August 30, 2024
The distribution for the Bonus Challenge this season appears to be similar to the April 2024 Thunderbolts Season, and it has been confirmed by the developers that this month will be backloaded for the final two weeks. This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
Could not find any cards. Searched for: Hulkling, Kate Bishop
Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.
For more information about the new card, make sure to check out our latest strategy guide on Hulkling as well:
Overall, Hulkling has been a forgettable card since its release. It found some success in a few great decks (such as Good Cards Wiccan), but it didn’t look particularly important in any of them. Indeed, the new card competed with the likes of Magneto and Red Hulk, which is a sign that it can perform well since those are great 6-Cost cards. Unfortunately, it also means that you can easily replace Hulkling if you don’t have it. Skipping this card in order to save your resources would not be the worst decision you could make, especially if you already have Cannonball and Nimrod.
Hulkling is a good card, but it is far from necessary to possess currently. If you are a little short on Collector’s Tokens or Spotlight Keys, I would refrain from getting it and instead wait for its return in future Spotlight Caches. That will at least improve the value of your future Spotlight Caches since you’ll have two cards to grab.
When it comes to completing the weekend missions, however, you can slot in Hulkling as your general big card in a variety of decks and it will probably function just fine. It isn’t much, but it’s honest work.
Due to the random nature of Hulkling, I haven’t seen any synergistic decks appear with the new card. It is simply being slotted in decks that are looking to include 6-Cost cards with good potential. While that has made the card pretty unexciting to experiment with, it has also given it the merit of easily being able to play it in a few archetypes. This is perfect for completing the missions without having to rack your brain to find a decent deck.
When playing any of these decks, focus on your development and building a lead. Once you are in a commanding position, you can incorporate your opponent into your though process and see if slowing them down is more beneficial for you than developing more points.
Hulkling just comes in as the surprise factor here. He brings an ability that has little chance to be in your deck in the first place with 11 power on top. Naturally, this makes Hulkling an opportunistic play based on the ability you get. With this in mind, unless you get a great ability early on that you can plan around, I wouldn’t count on Hulkling specifically; the card will simply come in as another big boy you can slam with six energy.
Kate Bishop
For yet another week, Kate Bishop has remained one of the best 2-Cost cards in Marvel Snap. She’s able to represent a nice standalone inclusion—particularly in Wiccan-based decks—or synergize with KaZoo and Junk strategies. As such, you have plenty of options to consider in order to complete the weekend missions with the Season Pass card.
Hulkling had very little impact on the Marvel Snap meta, which makes it a forgettable card (for now). However, it is the synergies around the card that limit where you can play Hulkling, as the power level has been decent. To be played instead of Magneto or Red Hulk, two powerhouses in their own right, is a testimony to the overall strength of the card. As such, it shouldn’t be too difficult to complete your weekend missions with Hulkling.
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
