During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, or Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
Dark Avengers: Bonus Challenges – January 24, 2025
This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Discard Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Bullseye starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Iron Patriot starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend. You can find the current best performing deck for each card down below, as well as some other options to match your collection or play style preferences.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.
For more information about the new card, make sure to check out our latest strategy guide on Bullseye as well:
Bullseye Performance

Bullseye made a lot of noise after its release and pushed new and exotic Discard builds that play otherwise unused cards (such as Daken). As a welcome breath of fresh air, Bullseye has naturally appeared like a great card to many—or at least more appealing than its results would indicate.
Indeed, compared to Victoria Hand and Moonstone, Bullseye is the worst card to come out this month in terms of performance. It isn’t doing bad at all; in fact, Bullseye holds both a positive Win Rate and Cube Average. Yet neither metric is as good as the hype the new card received, while both Ongoing cards currently appear in some of the best performing archetypes.
This card is great addition for anyone looking to play Discard differently, and it’s a nice new card in a meta that was very Ongoing heavy since the OTA. Bullseye is pretty cool overall, and I’m rooting for his signature deck to be refined and stay in the meta. However, for those waiting to see if Bullseye would be worth their resources, know that the card won’t take you to new heights. It can only offer a different way to build around the Discard synergy.
Post-Release Score:
Iron Patriot Performance

For yet another week, Iron Patriot is a top tier card that most decks want to slam on Turn 2 (and typically Snap whenever they win that location the following turn).
There is a chance that Iron Patriot might suffer a slight loss in performance in the near future if Bullseye continues to be a popular card, though. Indeed, the new 3-Cost is a great friend of Swarm, which, combined with Mister Negative, could be enough to make Mobius M. Mobius return to the meta. I doubt this scenario would be enough to warrant taking Iron Patriot out of your deck, but it is something to keep in mind.
Post-Release Score:
Iron Patriot Decks
The Season Pass card can be played in virtually any deck you like to complete its associated missions. Here are the top three heading into the weekend:
Bullseye Decks
Although I’ve seen a few card swaps here and there, Bullseye mostly has one solid list that he’s played in. If you want to tailor the deck to your collection, Victoria Hand, Grand Master, and Wong could be decent inclusions. I have not seen any lists with Iron Patriot; however, considering Frigga is already in the mix, maybe the Season Pass card can be included to knock both missions out at the same time.
Closing Thoughts
For the third week in a row, the newest addition to Marvel Snap has managed to be good enough to find its way into the current meta. This time, Bullseye doesn’t synergize with an existing deck, which means it hasn’t been associated with Iron Patriot like Victoria Hand and Moonstone immediately were after their releases.
This only means it will require a little more time to complete the missions for both cards. In exchange for the extra work, we gained a new, different archetype, one that I hope can stay in the long run since it is pretty unique.
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
