Alliances are officially here! In this guide, we will cover everything about how this new feature works, the benifits, and more!

What are Alliances?
Alliances are essentially a social hub for Marvel Snap. You can create a clan of up to 29 people and interact with them in new, exciting ways! Players will be able to create their own Alliance, or join an existing one. Players will also be able to team up with players across different regions! To create an Alliance, it costs 100 gold.
In an Alliance, players work together to complete missions (called Bounties), compete on leaderboards, and chat with each other! To better explore these new features, let’s break it down a bit.
Bounties
Bounties are missions you can select within your Alliance. You can have a total of 3 active at a time. Missions have rarity (common, epic, and legendary), and those rarities will change how difficult a bounty is, and how much of a reward you can get! After completing a bounty, you can get a new one immediately from the bounty shop! It doesn’t cost anything to claim a bounty.
For an example of rarities, here is a bounty in the game:
- Common: Fill All Locations (Complete 6 times for 100 points)
- Epic: Fill All Locations (Complete 8 times for 200 points)
For only 33% more games, you get 100% more reward!
Bounty rarities are random, but picking up a bounty can reveal a new bounty that has a chance to be a any rarity! So you can complete easy bounties to search for epic or legendary bounties!
If you start a bounty and deicide you don’t want to finish it, you can drop the bounty for a new one. There is a catch though: You can only drop 3 bounties per week. After the weekly reset, which is the same as Snap’s week timer on the season missions.
The Social Aspect
Aside from offering bounties, Alliances offers a social hub for you and your team to chat, strategize, and share accomplishments! This hub offers a few things to players:
First, it offers the first iteration of allowing players to communicate with one another in game. Second, it provides a way to sharing big victories! This is shared by a Snap Bot automatically after achieving an 8 cube game. If you don’t want your chat filled with bot messages, you can silence the bots to only see team messages. Finally, the chat offers a way for players to share decks in game with a direct link to see and copy the used deck.
This functionality will allow Alliances to strategize easier on how to tackle bounties without needing to coordinate outside of the game (like through reddit, Discord, or here on Snap Zone). For more casual players, this offers a chance for them to start getting connected to the community, and begin to learn how the game operates.
Joining an Alliance
Players can find a public Alliance based on the requirements and criteria they are looking for. If you are looking for an active Alliance run by us or ones advertised by the community:
Leaderboards
Not only does this social hub offer rewards and chat functionality, it also gives a leaderboard for your Alliance! This shows a few key details:
- Total Points Earned
- Total Cubes Earned
- Total Bounties Completed
This can give your Alliance a few tools. It can offer a fun way to be competitive with one other aside from direct matches. Imagine an Alliance all competing with the same deck to see who can get the most cubes on their private leaderboard! This also gives your Alliance the ability to manage which players are contributing to the team, and which players are only there to get free rewards when they log in.
