Good morning all! I’m back at Marvel Snap Zone with a deck of the day: a top deck for you to try out! My aim for this article is to get you in and out quickly and give you something new to play every day along with the tools to do well with it. If you want three more new decks today, check out this video!

This isn’t a Starbrand deck, but since it’s the last day before the card leaves Spotlight Caches I wanted to give you a quick review.
They murdered this card pretty badly before it had a chance to gain a foothold. The changes to Surtur and Skaar were bad enough, but removing the synergy between Cap's Shield and Cull Obsidian was the final nail in the coffin. That deck seems dead, even with Starbrand.
Sauron decks are good, but not good enough to be in the meta. This leaves only Sera decks as a home for Starbrand. Those decks like the card and are good with him, but he’s in no way a real requirement in them. He’s a nice luxury if you like Sera.
Starbrand is a strong card without a home. That means that down the line he likely will find a place where he’s pretty good, but, for now, he’s definitely on the weaker side, and I can’t recommend getting him for the current meta.
The creator of this deck is our friend Cougarrr (who will be streaming soon here).
Iron Man and Anti-Venom have become a popular combo in meta decks. Iron Man hit by Anti-Venom is just pure value, so it only makes sense to add a Mystique to really take advantage of that combo. Mystique demands a second Ongoing card, though, and the best of those is Gorr—another card that really benefits from Anti-Venom. In order to see the combo you need Magik, but you can also make it cheaper with Ravonna Renslayer and Moonstone. The latter works even better with Ravonna and gives you another way to combo off by making your cards with zero power cheaper.
Once you have Gorr, you need On Reveal cards, but there’s already one with Magik. Sage makes sense with the Ravonna package, and Hawkeye Kate Bishop as a [2/3] that generates On Reveals is great. Shadow King and Spider-Ham add a bit of control… and all these On Reveals make Werewolf By Night a natural fit. He even suddenly adds enough power to really make Iron Man sing.
It all comes together perfectly for this deck.
