Top 2 Best Decks to Counter the S Tier Meta Deck Ka-Zar Zoo

In any card game, finding ways to beat the best deck is all part of the evolving metagame. Traditionally, the aggro, midrange and control archetypes play rock paper scissors with each other, ideally forming a balanced environment where no one deck truly dominates.

Having said that, Marvel Snap’s collection system gives players a finite number of cards to play with as players progress to obtain the “better” cards in Pool 3, which slow down card acquisition significantly and becomes harder for players to build decks around particular synergies if the right combination of cards are not found.

In our latest meta tier list assessment, there was one deck that stood out above the rest, Ka-Zar Zoo, an aggro deck that focuses on cards that cost 1 Energy, emptying the hand and buffing them up.

The first deck is a synergistic “control-combo” deck that makes use of high impact cards that work really well together. Ghost Rider is arguably one of the best cards in Marvel Snap right now, allowing you to discard otherwise expensive cards and play them for no cost. In this deck, Lady Sif and The Infinaut is your ideal combination.

Jubilee allows you to play America Chavez for free as she sits on the top of your deck most of the time waiting for the turn 6 draw.

Otherwise, the deck looks to prolong and disrupt the game (Professor X, Shang-Chi) or create various ways to play your expensive cards better (Wave, Psylocke).

The second deck is a more discard focused deck than the Zoo deck which it is trying to beat. Its core is quit similar, sharing Ant-Man, Blade, Okoye, Strong Guy, Nakia, and Iron Man as they are all individually powerful cards regardless.

The key difference is in Swarm and Morbius, which are enabled by your cards that make you discard and provide cheap, low-costed ways to boost your power. Furthermore, this deck is much more friendly to build, as it can be built with only cards from Pool 1 and Pool 2!
