Following an update confirming there will be no balance hotfixes this month for Marvel Snap, Glenn Jones from Second Dinner have given a further update to confirm that they will be targeting “Thanos and Shuri decks” and the patch will be released “later this month” via Twitter.
Update: Stephen from the official Discord has shared a titbit of information that also includes improvements to the Token Shop and Collector’s Token acquisition!
Balance changes will be in our next client update which will come out next week if all goes well with certification and deployment. In that client update there are also improvements to token acquisition and the token shop experience.

The two decks occupy the the top tier in our Meta Tier List and have been for the last few weeks. The wording of the Tweet may imply that other cards in the decks may be affected, not just Thanos or Shuri themselves.
Notably, Thanos was most recently buffed to a [6|11] as a delayed response to its play rate, and Shuri is likely to be going to Series 3 in the next Series Drop with the patch (which is not yet announced).
As for the timing of the patch, the last few patches saw the updates drop on January 31 and February 21 so we could hope for a release date on Tuesday March 14 or 21. The most likely date is when the Steampunk Variant Rush is due to start, on February 21, which should require a patch.
We will update players here if anything more is known! In the meantime, check out our previous post on this topic:
