Marvel Snap’s Steampunk Variant rush event runs from March 21, 2023, through to April 4, 2023, where players can open exclusive Steampunk variants from Collector’s Reserves. Here’s everything you need to know about the event!
Event Details and Rewards
- Event Start: March 21, 2023 with 13.13 patch update
- Event End: April 4, 2023 at 3 AM GMT
During the 14 days of the Steampunk Variant rush event, every time you open a Collector’s Reserve, there’s a chance of opening one of the five new Steampunk Variants (click on the link for the full list) and three Titles, similar to the Winterverse Winter Vacation Variant Rush event. These unique variants and titles are only available during the Steampunk Variant Rush event.

Drop Rates and Guide
Collector’s Reserves are rewards players earn after Collection Level 1000, that shows up every 12 levels. Here’s everything that we know about the event so far.
- Players can open these variants despite not owning the Series 3 Base Cards already, unlike how the other non-purchased variants work. Cerebro, Falcon, and Yellowjacket cards are in Series 3.
- Every four Collector’s Reserve contains a cosmetic consisting of: 30% Title, 30% Avatar, and 40% Variant.
- According to the developers, “We doubled the drop chance from 5% to 10% for this one. Want you guys to get hyped and feel like you can get more than last time”. This may mean that every variant reward could be a guaranteed Steampunk variant reward. It also means you may need to save up a minimum of 20 Collector’s Reserves to collect them all (not including Titles).
- You may want to delay opening your Collector’s Reserves and save Credits until the event starts if you want maximum chance of opening these variants. If not, then you may want to use all your resources before this date.
