Hey everyone! CanadianAlfredo here subbing in for Den this week for your weekend challenge guide. He should be back with your regularly scheduled programming next week.
With no OTA changes last week, there hasn’t been much shift in the meta from what we’ve been seeing already. Den’s ranked meta Tier list is still a solid representation of the meta, and Polaris, Horseman of Pestilence isn’t moving the needle much.
Luke Cage and Cosmo are solid counters right now, shutting both featured cards down. Unsurprisingly, the meta’s top decks include at least one of them.
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| TBA | 10 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Stryfe starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Polaris Horseman of Pestilence starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |
Stryfe Performance

Stryfe stocks are down, and you have good ole’ Cosmo to thank for that in part. Between being fairly predictable still and being easily countered, Stryfe isn’t getting quite as much “bang for your buck” as he was last week.
The card is still solid overall though. It just isn’t a favorable meta with a high volume of tech around. With that said, he can still perform well enough in his best decks.

Polaris Horseman of Pestilence

The newest objective card has landed better than the previous horsemen, but she’s releasing at a very inconvenient time. With Luke Cage already being played before she even released, it’s harder to reliably get her objective completed. The payoff is solid though, so it’s worthwhile if you have a deck to slot her into.
If you want to slot her in for some quick missions, she fits cleanly into the High Evolutionary curve. You can go for the Ajax route, but at least High Evo isn’t dead in the water with Luke Cage.

Bonus Challenge Decks
Polaris Horseman of Pestilence doesn’t have to pull something like Fin Fang Foom to be good. She’s a 2-Cost you can drop on curve and get value from a free card play. She slides into affliction decks that already function well without her, so slotting her in should help knock those missions out. If you want to tech against other affliction decks, use Luke Cage as soon as you have gotten the value from your Polaris Horseman of Pestilence and Abomination.
With a repeat meta this week, Den’s breakdown and decks still hold up well. Rather than repeat him, I’ll keep his previous thoughts below:
The season pass card will obviously push your deck to focus on the On Reveal synergy. Yet, Stryfe is good enough to be considered outside decks filled with On Reveal abilities. Adding the likes of Merlin or Hawkeye Kate Bishop can be enough for a flexible archetype with 3 or 4 On Reveal cards already.
The 4-cost primary use is to copy Fin Fang Foom’s ability, but Arnim Zola or Aurora are other great targets.
