Marvel Snap Zone March 2023 Update: Tracker Overlay, Deck/Card Stats, Variant Source, and Deck Guides!

Hello to our valued Marvel Snap community! Welcome to Marvel Snap Zone’s March 2023 update post. Our goal is to regularly communicate what changes are undergoing on the website regularly, and this is our monthly log (consider it a “patch note”) of what’s changed, what’s being worked on, and what’s to come in the roadmap.

With that in mind, here at Marvel Snap Zone we strive to improve everyday, and your feedback is what motivates us to keep going. Let us know how we are doing, and any improvements you’d like to see. As we are gearing up for the upcoming patch next week, we’re pushing out some updates to make sure we are prepared. Without further ado, let’s dive in for some March 2023 news!

Tracker Overlay

At long last, our Marvel Snap Tracker‘s first version of the overlay function is now live with the latest major update for the PC client! Find it in the settings. You can see live updates to your and your opponent’s deck, as well as stats for the session. More features are coming soon, but in the meantime please direct all feedback in our Discord server!

Variant Source

Variants previously marked as Unreleased but were actually available though other ways other than the shop and caches, are now marked correctly. We categorized them into three sources, and you can find further details on how they were found in the individual variant pages.

• Bundle: Exclusively available from limited time bundles.
• Event: From events such as login rewards, sent to inbox, and so on.
• Season Pass: Exclusively available from the paid track of the Season Pass.

Deck Stats

We’ve made improvements to the individual card pages and their deck sections. You can now find the best decks for that card using data from our Marvel Snap Tracker rendered by MarvelSnap.pro. See example for Galactus:

Card Stats

We’ve also added more detailed card stats using data from our Marvel Snap Tracker rendered by MarvelSnap.pro once again. You can also see more stats from the top card page as well, announced last month!

Deck Guides

We are starting to create deck guides for decks especially on the meta tier list (you can find the new column there as well). The goal is to keep them up to date with the meta with the goal to teach players how to play them! Let us know what you think and if they helped.

Performance

• Further improvement to website performance. Please alert us if you see any errors as you should hopefully see them much less now!
