Marvel Snap December 2023 Developer Update: Hellfire Gala Season

Check out the latest Developer Update video from the Marvel Snap team, highlighting what’s to come in the December 2023 Season, Hellfire Gala!

It also coincides with the upcoming patch update, with new features such as the autofill option for the deck builder, variant Albums, and new Emotes, which should be revealed in the patch notes.

There are also events such as the new Winterverse event with login rewards and the Hellfire Gala Shop Takeover.

💎 Deck Builder: Auto-complete a deck or find the perfect fit for that brand, new card you’ve collected!

💎 Albums: Show off a complete variant set with Albums and earn exclusive rewards including…

💎 New Emotes: That’s right, we’re adding BRAND NEW emotes that are earned via completing an Album. More emotes coming soon!

And of course, you can expect new characters like the Season Pass card Sebastian Shaw and plenty of other fresh rewards. Other new cards to look forward to include Blob, Havok, and Selene!

New Cards

The new cards for the season are Sebastian Shaw, Blob, Havok, and Selene. Unfortunately, Firestar is no longer part of the season (read the news here).

Please note that Havok is different in the video from the datamined version below. It now looks to be released as a Series 4 card, and has been changed to a 0-power (from 1) card that gains +4 (from 3) Power in the video.

When this card permanently gains Power, gain +2 more Power. (wherever this is)

Albums and Emotes

New Emotes will be here in Marvel Snap (as we’ve been teased previously) and they will be rewards from the new Album feature for completing your variant collections. We’ll know more about this soon.

Autofill Deck

According to the video, you will be able to build “competitive” decks with the new auto-complete feature of the deck builder.

Winterverse Event

The Winterverse event is coming again, with 14 days of login rewards! The same Variant Rush variants look like they will be returning here, but we don’t know if it will be a different system or not.
