Just two days after the previous Gold bundle (Girl Boss Era) ended, we’re getting another bundle, and what a bundle it is! The opportunity to play with a Series 5 card variant is already enticing! So let’s analyze the pros and cons of this bundle.
128% Progress Value is a bold statement! For 5,000 Gold, it’s a fair result, and the distribution of Credits and Collector’s Tokens equally isn’t the most standard solution. Combined with the ability to play with Anti-Venom without obtaining the base card, it suggests that the bundle is aimed at those who don’t have strong preferences regarding card acquisition sources, and it’s important for them to spend Gold as efficiently as possible.
So I’ll clarify right away – if you already have Anti-Venom and you fundamentally don’t like Spotlight Caches and want to buy cards only directly through Collector’s Tokens, or on the other hand, if you’re okay with Spotlight Caches and new splits thanks to Credits and you don’t need Collector’s Tokens – consider skipping the bundle to get a different offer that better suits your needs.
And for those who don’t mind both resources even with Anti-Venom in their collection, this is still a good deal! Let’s break down why below.
Comparison With Other Bundles
Among the bundles released in the past year, including those priced at 4,500 Gold and above, the Don’t Stop the Healing bundle ranks in the top 2 level, second only to the bundle The One Who Knocks (it also falls short compared to the Token Tuesday Bundle from January 25, which was mistakenly released at a lower price).
If we compare this bundle to all the bundles since the start of Spotlight Caches, this bundle clearly falls behind 5 other bundles, but it still has a very high result, significantly above the average Progress Value.
It’s quite expected that for a bundle with two different resources, the value of Collector’s Tokens for Gold and Credits for Gold would be rather low. And that’s the case – on the comparison chart, we see 0.6 Credits for Gold compared to the standard value of 1.25, and 0.6 Collector’s Tokens for Gold against the standard of 0.8, which is significantly below the average value among bundles over the past year.
But if we look at the total value of the cards for Gold, it turns out that the bundle is at the top, second only to the The One Who Knocks bundle. So, the split of resources evenly makes this bundle very good, as it offers enough Progress Value for its price.
What if you don’t have Anti-Venom?
Now let’s finally take a look at the bundle in case you don’t have Anti-Venom and you’d like to use the bundle to play this card in your decks.
In this case, the value of the bundle skyrockets to 289%, as you’re essentially getting a Series 5 card for free while retaining all the value we discussed earlier. Additionally, Anti-Venom isn’t in the upcoming Series Drops, just like he isn’t in the upcoming known Spotlight Caches! The last time Anti-Venom was in Spotlight Caches was on October 29, 2024, when he was first released.
Additionally, the good news is that there are currently no unused variants for Anti-Venom in the client, meaning there’s less chance of him appearing in Spotlight Caches anytime soon (but he can still appear there in the coming months). The only variant that hasn’t been released yet is the one by Carlos Dattoli, which is expected to be available on April 1, 2025 as a promo card on the paid rewards track on the Nuverse website.
It’s quite obvious that with a Progress Value of 289%, this bundle simply won’t have any equals in comparison. But, for clarity, I’m attaching the graph below.
For the value of Series 5 cards for every 700 Gold, the situation is the same – 0.25 cards for 700 Gold is too high a value to compete with any bundle from the past.
So, if you don’t have Anti-Venom and you’re interested in him, this bundle is a must-have for you. But let’s dive into the next section to determine whether you really need Anti-Venom or not.
The Usefulness of the Variant in the Meta
Well, as for the usability of Anti-Venom in the current meta, the situation isn’t very smooth – the only deck where he’s found some place is the Ajax deck, and even then, the builds with him aren’t the strongest or most popular.
The other decks featuring Anti-Venom are experimental and aren’t represented in the meta at the level of strong decks.
Maybe Anti-Venom is still destined to find his place, but right now it’s quite a niche card that you won’t be using very often.
Conclusion
Thus, although Anti-Venom isn’t a strong and meta card that you need to get at any cost, the overall value of the bundle, even without considering Anti-Venom, is extremely good, which makes it recommendable for most players.
And if you don’t have Anti-Venom, then the bundle rises to the “must-have” category, since even if the card isn’t useful to you, you’ll still end up with a very good amount of Credits and Collector’s Tokens. Also, Anti-Venom’s potential may be revealed once more players gain access to him and more cards are released, so it’s too early to write him off completely.
So I think it’s fair to give the bundle 5/5 stars, even considering the slightly high price, since both in terms of numbers and the potential use of Anti-Venom, this bundle is too good to skip if you have enough Gold in your balance.
Also, don’t forget that you can evaluate this bundle in comparison to others using a variety of different criteria, utilizing the special chart on the dedicated Don’t Stop the Healing bundle page! Below is a detailed guide on how to use our tools to evaluate bundles on your own.
