During the weekend, there is now one more set of Missions for players to complete: The Bonus Challenge! These involve additional rewards for winning games related to the week’s new card and the Season Pass card. These missions provide extra Collector’s Tokens, Gold, and Credits!
You need to win games with the card starting in your deck, and it does not count if the card was generated by cards such as Cable, Loki, and Maria Hill. Each of these reward amounts will vary depending on the difficulty of the mission. However, you don’t have to play the card during the course of the match for it to count, it just needs to be in your starting twelve!
There will be Bonus Challenge Missions available for each new card release to allow players to earn back Collector’s Tokens and subsidize their cost. Players can also expect the rewards to be stabilized at 200 Tokens to help them plan their token budget for the month.
The Amazing Spider-Season: Bonus Challenge – September 27, 2024
This week’s Bonus Challenge Missions are:
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| TBA | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Scarlet Spider starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Symbiote Spider-Man starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |

Most players will want to be efficient with these missions, so today we will give you a few different decks that incorporate all the cards featured each weekend. You can find the current best performing deck for each card down below, as well as two other options to match your collection or play style preferences.
We’ll also give you a short guide on how to get the most out of the decks and finish the missions quickly. First, let’s take a quick look at the new card’s performance this week.
For more information about the new card, make sure to check out our latest strategy guide on Scarlet Spider as well:
Scarlet Spider Performance

So far, Scarlet Spider has benefited from solid decks that have an established game plan and were already posting good results, but it hasn’t really helped elevate the performance of any archetypes. This isn’t a stab at the card; the ability to take one of the twelve available spots in some of the best decks in the game is an accomplishment in and of itself.
However, if you want to know whether Scarlet Spider is worth your Spotlight Keys or Collector’s Tokens, I don’t think the answer is yes (for now). Indeed, whether you look at the Good Cards archetype or Lockdown, both decks are more than capable of functioning without Scarlet Spider. On the other hand, if these two were not already in Marvel Snap’s Top 10 archetypes, Scarlet Spider wouldn’t be a part of the current meta.
Post-Release Score:
Symbiote Spider-Man Performance

Take these stats from the past week with a grain of salt because the Season Pass card was just buffed in the most recent OTA. Obviously, that means the developers were not happy with Symbiote Spider-Man‘s performance so far this season. I would share the same sentiment, as the card failed to become more than a gimmick during its first three weeks of play.
Since the OTA, however, the card has been paired with Galactus a lot… which did not lead to any meaningful results. As such, I’ll continue to consider Phoenix Force as Symbiote Spider-Man‘s best home for the time being. At least you get a slightly bigger Multiple Man or Nimrod.
Post-Release Score:
Symbiote Spider-Man Decks
Naturally, the OTA made Galactus and Black Panther the most popular pairings for Symbiote Spider-Man, which has lead to all sorts of decks. Listed above are the ones with the highest Win Rates since that is the metric that matters most for completing these weekend missions quickly.
The On Reveal deck is the most popular, and it’s probably easiest to pilot as well. It focuses almost entirely on assembling certain combos to win the game. As for the other two, they are more specific in what they try to achieve, but in return they have the benefit of not being as obvious as the On Reveal deck.
The best list here is likely the affliction deck, especially with less of Hela following the nerf in the OTA. The Wiccan build is easily the most fun to play, though, and it also showcases more diversity in your games thanks to Nick Fury. Still, the On Reveal deck can get results immediately once you understand how the few synergies you have available work. The sneakiest synergy I’ve found is using Namora to buff Symbiote Spider-Man and set up for an 18 power Galactus on the following turn.
Scarlet Spider Decks
Scarlet Spider looks to be a bit of a harder challenge to complete the missions this week, at least when compared to all of the decks featuring Symbiote Spider-Man since the OTA.
The Good Cards archetype is your best bet for getting them done quickly, and you can tailor the list to your liking. For example, Mysterio, Mockingbird, and Sasquatch can replace Legion, Magneto, and Nightcrawler.
I decided to showcase the other two decks because they work with the missions of both cards, and if you’re going to struggle to get Scarlet Spider done you might as well snag some wins for Symbiote Spider-Man in the process.
Over a small sample sizes, these both posted good enough results for me to believe that they can complete the missions fairly quickly. Plus, it is always satisfying to get huge cards on the board. In the worst case, your opponent will Retreat when they see your Scarlet Spider grow, but that’s actually a benefit because you’ll complete your missions faster.
If you care about your current ranking, testing these two builds in Conquest might be a good idea before jumping into games you don’t want to lose.
Closing Thoughts
Symbiote Spider-Man was already doing well enough that it was pretty simple to get its missions done during the previous weeks. With an OTA that aimed to make it and a few allies better, the card should now represent be an easy 150 Gold.
Scarlet Spider, on the other hand, has at least one good deck (the Good Cards list), which should be enough to get four wins and claim your Collector’s Tokens. If you want to try something more creative, the new card has the merit of pairing fairly well with Symbiote Spider-Man, so you can advance both missions at the same time. It will have to be a gimmick deck—which could become frustrating if you get countered over and over—but you should be able to get some quick wins if you’re fine with playing a little recklessly, especially in Conquest.
Hopefully this guide helps you decide if you want the card prior to the missions coming out, as well as what you can play to complete the missions quickly!
Good Game Everyone.
