The current metagame is a lot about disrupting the opponent and gathering information to know when you should Snap, stay, or retreat in your game. In this session, we go over all the cards able to give you some information to work with, and start grouping them to see how we can build around those!
It might be a little boring to do, but scanning all the options allow hitting the reset button on all these play patterns we’ve seen and used in the past. Then, we are less likely to try and simply apply knowledge from a previous metagame to this one. It’s a lot, but needed work in order to build some comfort going forward.
For the next session, each player now has to pick one of those packages and build a deck looking to leverage it as well as possible. We’ll have:
- Pixie Lockjaw: Energy blur strategy
- Invisible Woman: Hiding information
- Titania & Friends: Space limitations
- Valentina & Quinjet: Play Patterns blur strategy
