Finally a bundle with a variant for a powerful Series 5 card is out! But is it still worth it if you already have Agent Venom, or should you skip it? Let’s take a look.
Wow, this bundle isn’t great at all.
Wow, this bundle isn’t great. 4,500 Credits for 3,500 Gold gives you 1.29 Credits per Gold vs the standard 1.25, or just 125 Credits more than usual! Spending all those Credits nets you about 3,000 Tokens, which isn’t bad overall when you compare the Tokens per Gold offers, but as you know – it isn’t really far from the base rate of 1.25 that’s always available unlimited in the shop.
Comparison With Other Bundles
In terms of Progress Value this bundle couldn’t be any lower compared to other bundles, especially over a 6-month period where the Bio-Weaponized bundle is the worst bundle overall.
In its price tier the situation isn’t any better. This bundle is at the bottom and there’s no talk of it even coming close to the average. Also, on the 6-month chart you can clearly see the degradation of bundles priced around 3,000 – 3,500 Gold.
The Total Tokens per Gold value for this bundle is very low, placing it barely in the average range among bundles over the last 12 months and at the bottom compared to bundles over the last 6 months.
With a Credits per Gold of 1.29, this bundle slightly beats the base 1.25 Credits per Gold – placing it right in the middle among bundles with Credits and far beyond the great value of Booster Packs.
Thus, the bundle shows very weak results across the board, even hitting rock bottom and becoming the worst bundle by certain metrics. But this only applies if you already have Agent Venom. If you don’t, the value will be completely different, which I’ll cover in the next section!
What if you don’t have Agent Venom?
And of course everything changes dramatically once you add Series 5 cards into the mix – you get 333% Progress Value and a crazy value of 0.3 Series 5 cards for every 700 Gold. So if you don’t have the card, this is essentially a must buy for you.
Use cases for the Agent Venom variant
Agent Venom is a decent card but he’s dropped a lot in the meta over the last two seasons. Decks with him aren’t posting as high win rates as before but they’re still a solid pick for climbing ranks. If the archetype appeals to you, it’s worth your attention.
Below are two builds that’ve had the most success lately: a more classic version and an experimental one with Pixie, in case you want to mix things up.
Conclusion
So it’s only thanks to the Agent Venom card that this bundle might interest anyone. Without it, the bundle’s extremely weak and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s simple: have the card – skip it; don’t have the card and like the archetype – grab it!
As an alternative you can consider the great Booster Packs available every Saturday or wait for a bundle for the same 5,000 Gold but with a card you actually need.
Also, don’t forget that you can evaluate this bundle in comparison to others using a variety of different criteria, utilizing the special chart on the dedicated Bio-Weaponized bundle page! Below is an updated guide on how to use our tools to evaluate bundles on your own.
