The OTA on Thursday was meant to shake up the meta and push more diversity, and this is the perfect scenario heading into the Infinity League. Unfortunately, the balance changes didn't have the impact most expected. Lockdown remained very strong, even with a [5/1] Professor X. Indeed, the card wasn't meant to contribute through putting up lots of points. It serves as an anchor for other cards in those decks. Ms. Marvel, Jeff the Baby Land Shark, Alioth, and Nebula are still very strong to build around, which makes Professor X a very strong support card as a result (even with less power). Then, with Lockdown remaining a force in the meta, there are a few things to keep in mind when building a deck to dominate the Conquest mode. For example, packing a way to disrupt those few cards that appear in several archetypes can go a long way into stealing a four or eight cuber from your opponent and advancing to the next round.
