The Hot Location for the next 24 hours is Gamma Lab: After turn 3, transform all cards here into the Hulk. Hot Locations happen every week, starting Sunday at 3 AM GMT. The chosen location has a 60% increased chance of appearing during games. Players who strategically build around the location or counter the decks that do so can have an advantage over their opponents! So what do you play?

Strategy and General Tips
This location incentivizes playing multiple cards into the location to transform into multiple Hulks and create your own Hulkland! However, the best card for this location is in fact Shang-Chi. If your opponent fills the lane, Shang-Chi is a free lane win on 6. It’s a large swing and given how often the location will show up, the number one recommendation is make room for Shang-Chi. This risk alone makes building into the location completely is risky.

If you do decide to build into the location, you may want Armor to protect the lane. However remember you will also protect your opponent’s Hulks which may also be a downside.
Final note: Electro and The Hood are excellent inclusions into other strategies during the location. The transformation removes the downside while giving you all the upside!
Pool 1
Yes, Uatu the Watcher gets his time to shine. If we are playing with this location as a potential we want to be able to get cards in early when we want to and avoid when we want to as well. This card will help us do this. He also transforms nicely into a Hulk when we want too. If you are only in Series 1, this location is not easily countered, adding even more value to this card.
Rest of the plan is flood the board and win.
Pool 2
Going into Series 2, Kazoo remains the recommendation but we make significant changes. Well, one significant change – Shang-Chi. This card is the counter and equalizer for Gamma Lab and as mentioned above, should be in every deck while this location is active.
One note, play him on curve if you will get value as opponents may have Armor ready to protect their side. Armor is not here to protect Gamma Lab, but to protect the rest of your deck from Killmonger.
Series 3
In Series 3, we have a few different approaches. Here is a counterplay approach. We have Brood and Mister Sinister which can give us multiple Hulks, multiple ways to play some No Ability cards which we can buff with Patriot and Mystique, and these same buffs can buff our Hulks above opponents. Shang-Chi for your opponent’s Hulks. Sera for Turn 6 Silver Surfer turns. Killmonger can also be an MVP on 3 if your opponent as one drops in Gamma Lab waiting.
Goal here is to destroy the Hulks on 5 followed by Goose! This will defend your side from Shang-Chi while also not being Armored. Playing Armor early game would be very bad for this deck and therefore we go with Goose to get the effect we want whilst still being destroyable if we need to.
Wave and Goose on 5 is also excellent as you will hopefully defend the lane from Shang-Chi and you may be able to sneak a Death in underneath on 6 still. Taskmaster can copy the very big Venom also, but if we miss it, it can potentially copy the Death on 6 also after Wave. Shang-Chi is in our deck too as we need to be able to clear opponent’s Hulk plays.
Lastly, Electro has to be featured when we have a location which can turn the downside off. This version includes everyone’s favourite cards as they will take advantage of the location and turn off your counters. The Hood and Electro prior to 3. Then Aero or Leech on turn 4 followed by a 6 drop into another 6 drop is the gameplan here.
