Hello valued readers, and happy new year! Sorry for being quiet over the past year, and to make up for all that we are here to announce important site improvements coming for Marvel Snap Zone in 2025.
State of Marvel Snap
Firstly, let’s talk about the state of the game. We’ve recently published an opinion piece regarding the game by CanadianAlfredo, and player numbers may indeed be dwindling according to some public sources (such as Google Trends, Steam and Twitch numbers, mobile revenue reports).
There are possible factors such as weekly card releases that are hard to obtain, aggressive monetization, and lack of gameplay diversity. This is also in no part due to release of other games in the same genre such as Pokémon TCG Pocket or big releases such as Marvel Rivals that has happened over the past few months.
Marvel Snap Zone Version 2.0
Admittedly, it also doesn’t help that Marvel Snap Zone has been in a passive state since the release of Marvel Snap back in 2023. Having done some major auditing of the site overall over the holiday break has shown too many areas that needed to be improved. As one of the leading communities of Marvel Snap, we need to do better. So, what’s next?
Over the past year, we’ve mostly been working on our network and we want to finally bring much of those improvements over to Marvel Snap Zone. You may see some things have already changed here and there! We did state Version 2.0, but improvements will happen gradually and not all at once. Furthermore, we want to work on our content to suit the current player base better.

Having said all that, the most important thing is that we want to do this with the help of our community. Every bit of feedback will be taken into account from here. Balancing every type of player and visitor will be a difficult task, but we will try our best!
Any type of feedback is appreciated – from content you’d like to see or updated, what we’re doing wrong, something too hard to find, and anything else. We won’t forget that we are supported by the community and without you we couldn’t have come this far.
