Marvel Snap has added a ton of ways to get variants, credits, boosters, and more through outside sources from simply playing the game. You can get Twitch drops, claim weekly freebies on the official Snap Webshop, or through giveaways. Now, Snap has launched a secret, unannounced quest that awards you an unreleased Spider-Man variant!
How To Get the Quest
In order to accept the quest, you need to have a Windows PC and download the Discord app. Once downloaded and logged in, click the “Discover” tab at the bottom left of the app. From there, simply click “Accept Quest” on the Marvel Snap section.
If you are having trouble finding the “Discover” tab, you can use this secondary method:
Go to settings, click “Gift Inventory”, then click the “View Quests” button. This simply reroutes you to the Discovery page.
The Quest and Claiming the Reward
The actual quest is extremely simply: Have the game on for 15 minutes while Discord app is open on your PC. You don’t even have to play the game! As long as both Snap and Discord are open, the timer will progress. After the 15 minutes, simply click “Claim Reward” on the Discovery page. Doing so will award you a code you can enter for the variant!
To Redeem your reward, simply click the link on the quest or visit Marvel Snap’s Webshop. From there, log in to your account (the same way you log in on the game), and click “Redeem Code”. You can paste your code into the field, which will send the variant directly to your account!
Mobile and Mac Users
Unfortunately, there is no way to simply get the variant on Mobile and Mac. The only guaranteed way to get the variant is by using PC. You can, however, get the variant with some help. The challenge does not require you to sync your Snap account or have a special discord account. Therefore, if you have any friend who has a PC, they can complete the challenge for you and send you the code. If they already did it, have them log into a different discord account to attempt to get a new code.
Since this is a new system for Snap, this is likely a soft-launch with Discord. It’s possible we could see future quests with added functionality for other platforms, but nothing is confirmed at this time.
