The DotGG Network, which Marvel Snap Zone is a part of, is proud to announce the introduction of a new division called Prometa! We believe this next step to be a natural and essential evolution to our rapidly growing team and we’re excited to tell you all about it in this press release.
We will break down the details relevant for Marvel Snap Zone, what it all means for us going forward here, as well as a general update for 2022 and 2023. For more information, check out the press releases on our network communities:
What is Prometa?
Prometa is the new name being branded for our newest division, that will be specializing in meta stats, data, analytics, trackers, and tools for the games that we love. As we continue to create content for our valued communities, we found that making use of the power of data and stats to compliment our experience and expertise will be crucial going forward.
Our existing team will be working with the Prometa team to enhance, create, and deliver the best products for our communities for a long time to come! As part of the new transition, DotGG will be taking over operations and development of the following (and other unannounced) projects, headed by their creator Razviar at MarvelSnap.gg.
What does this mean for Marvel Snap Zone?
The team here at DotGG and Marvel Snap Zone will be working actively on MarvelSnap.gg and its third party tracker to closely integrate the projects together and we’ll have more information on this soon as we prepare for its official launch soon. We’re looking to work on a tonne of things, including, but not limited to:
- Provide data and stats relevant to Marvel Snap, with the help of our third party tracker
- Improve our metagame and tier list sections with the help of collected data and stats
- Enhance existing and future content such as articles, podcasts, and videos
- Provide users a superior way to view and share content and their profiles more effectively and intuitively

Marvel Snap Zone Update for 2022 and 2023
With the official launch of Marvel Snap, we can’t thank you enough for the amount of support and feedback we’re receiving so far! We hope to continue to cultivate the community and work behind the scenes to improve every day. Here are some highlights:
- Continuously updating and overhaul of articles and guides for the influx of new players and removing outdated information (still ongoing!)
- Major performance improvements on site speed and errors
- Additional filters introduced in the deck database
- You can now hover over the card in the collection manager
- Added card tags for sources (e.g. Pool 2 cards), abilities (e.g. Destroy cards), released, unreleased, and more
- Added variant tags for their type (e.g. Chibi variants) and rarity (Rare Variants and Super Rare Variants)
- Added location tags (e.g. locations that synergize with Move) and rarity (e.g. Rare locations)
- And more to come!
As we approach the end of the year and in 2023, we’ll have exciting news going forward on our operations, partnerships, product releases, and more, in conjunction with our work with Prometa as we continue to be your best source for Marvel Snap. Thank you for reading!
