Infinite Loop With Kang Discovered

Kang made its debut as a Series 5 card in Marvel Snap, and merely hours its release, an infinite loop was uncovered. As we theorycrafted, its unique ability was certainly open to be used in interesting ways, and due to its ubiquitous nature it can be good enough to be tested in any deck.

Braude from Twitter has alerted the community what was possible, with a combination of Iron Fist, Cosmo, and Arnim Zola.

On Reveal: Look at what your opponent did, then restart the turn. (without Kang)

Since Kang has an On Reveal ability, Cosmo makes it so that its ability does not activate. See the video below to see the infinite loop where the player can do this over and over until someone retreats the game.

In case this isn't clear, if you have a way to place Kang on the board without activating him (in this case Cosmo and Fist) and then you play Zola on him, since the one that activated isn't the original, the original wasn't removed and Zola wasn't removed so I can do it forever.

It will be interesting to see how issues such as these are fixed, one solution being removing all Kangs and not just the one played that turn.

Speaking of interesting news regarding new cards, Second Dinner plans to update the Token Shop in the next major patch to make new cards show up on the next refresh:

Once that change is live next major update, it will work on your next refresh. So if the card goes live 30 mins after a refresh, it would show up in the next one that occurs 7.5 hours later. If you don’t check the shop for 24 hours, it would show up that next time you visit
