Freddybabes Swarm Deck (Zabu/Colleen/Drax/Aero/Maximus)
First off, this is not my deck- its author is (as far as I know) YouTuber and Creator FreddyBabes.

(I’m a fan because, like me, he’s fairly new to the game and has some interested deck ideas with a limited collection). And Here’s a link to his original deck guide:

I’ve compiled a collection of games I played with the deck, showcasing it’s as effective as advertised

INTRO:
There are a lot of deck builders/content creators who advertise “Game Breaking” decks. Some of them really might be (can’t say, I usually don’t have the cards), but a lot of them, in my experience, fall flat in practical application. I’ve been suffering through early Pool 3 since the start of this season, and found almost zero success with any Budget Deck- Miracle Sera, On-Going Destroyer, Zabu/Dino. The problem being, this season’s meta decks are just too efficient at cheating massive amounts of power into multiple lanes on Turn 6. Being linear and predictable in this Meta gets you nowhere
I’ve played over 150 games with this deck, have a 59% win-rate from rank 80+ to 95. Average cube gain of .54. Nothing else I’ve played comes close. I think it’s a great deck and wanted to share- think of this as testimonial.
GAMEPLAN:
I’m not gonna sugar coat it, Zabu is the key to winning with this deck. You can pull out games without him, but looking through my matches and building my gameplay reel it became very apparent he’s the star of the show. But where this deck really shines is the versatility of options you can stockpile on later turns thanks to Coleen Wing + Swarm. Aero and Chavez bring some sneaky upside as well, and 2-cost Shang-Chi/Enchantresses can be backbreaking for your opponent.Your Ideal curves is:
Sunspot > Colleen Wing (Swarm in hand) > Zabu.
From there it’s time to assess your hand and the board. Drax is an amazing value if there’s a competitive lane. He’s also great to hold if Moon Girl can double him. Always be aware of your hand size. Aero is highly game specific (especially because there seem to be more and more highly restrictive bases), but extremely strong knockout punch. She’s kind of like the the old Leader, the card nobody accounts for.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
While I think this deck has a decent shot at beating surfer, my personal Meta has shifted away from him and I see a lot more greedy Discard, Lockjaw, Deathwave, and Zero decks- cards that like to sneak fatties into play and try to steal the game on Turn 6. For a “budget deck”, Aero and Shang-Chi get a lot of mileage breaking those opponents.
I realize Zabu nerfs are coming, and the shelf-life on this deck is expiring, but man has it been sneaky good and breathed life into my climb that had become an act of desperation.
Thanks again Freddy. Please check out his channel and if you’d like to see gameplay I’ve posted a link of some standout games from my perspective.
Be safe out there Snappers!
