Eson and Agamotto seem to synergize well together, which makes this weekend’s missions appear fairly simple to complete. Indeed, there are several decks you can use to complete the missions associated with both cards at the same time.
Whether you are eager to get these missions done quickly or use them as a reason to test some ideas around both cards, Agamotto and Eson both look fit for the role.
| Mission | # | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Play On Reveal Cards | 15 | 150 Credits |
| Win with Khonshu* starting in your Deck | 4 | 200 Collector’s Tokens |
| Win with Agamotto starting in your Deck | 8 | 150 Gold |
Currently there is a bug where one of the Bonus Challenge mission requires the unreleased card Khonshu instead of the expected Eson. All players will be compensated with 200 Collector’s Tokens sometime next week.
Eson Performance

Ranks 70 to 100
This is quite a strong start for Eson. The card immediately ranked among the top 50 performers in the game while posting strong Win and Cube Rates. As usual during the first week of the season, we have to assume these numbers are higher than the reality due to bots. Yet this is true for every card, so although you should question the Cube Rate the Win Rate and overall ranking should be pretty reliable.
Most of that success comes from Eson being an obvious pairing with Arishem, a well established deck in Marvel Snap that has routinely posted great performances over the past eight seasons. Arguably, Eson has all the traits of a good card, from being easy to understand and easy to fit into a solid existing archetype to being able to dominate a location. So far, it has lived up to those expectations.

Agamotto Performance

Agamotto has slightly higher numbers than Eson, but it deserves to be in the higher tier due to many more games to back it up. Plus, Agamotto can pride itself with being included in more decks than Eson. Both are slotted in Arishem at the moment (and I have no doubt this is a big reason why the two share similar performances), Agamotto also ventured into other archetypes. This shows that the card is more versatile and likely to remain competitive even after potential balance changes.
I believe Iron Patriot and Sam Wilson Captain America had better starts to their journeys, but Agamotto is much harder to figure out then these two were. I wouldn’t rule out the new Season Pass card’s chances of improving in the future.

Bonus Challenge Decks
There are a multitude of decks with both Eson and Agamotto included, so both cards’ missions should be easy to do at the same time.
Here are the four archetypes with the best results so far ranked from best to worst (top to bottom). Arishem and Victoria Hand would easily make it into the next Tier List with their current results, while Ramp and Discard would likely would fall short or end up in the lower tiers. They do get a pass for being more exotic to play, though, and they certainly look good enough to complete the missions.
With all these decks, you are looking to play with a proactive mindset aimed at getting Eson out early while you figure out a flexible way to win another location.
